Sorry to all the kaki's for not being able to attend the recent meetup.

I managed to install the rubber with some modifications (since some part too long). Noise got reduced slightly, as now my stock radio is at level 10-12 when last time i need to boost until 16-18 just to hear.

But dunno placebo or what, however at higher speed the tire and engine noise still visible, so must do more sound cancellation projects later.

I understand... jsut that don't feel good for my FC haha.
1) RM60 petrol, run until 210km left 1 bar. (Petronas RON95 for first full tank)
2) City, normally very short distance (travel from house to school and back home about 4km whole journey)
3) I never step hard on throttle, rpm normally around 1.5k to 2k, hardly above. I dun accelerate fast as well, just let it slowly pick up the speed.
4) Normally 1 to 2 passengers, no heavy loads. (few laptops maximum)

Update on the buzzing sound problem:

Just collected my car from COE, after a brief test drive, I believe the buzzing sound problem has be resolved. As it turns out, the culprit was the flexible part of the exhaust (dunno what it's called, the tech just tell me it's the nenas  )


My gf drove the car back to my place while I followed in the Vios, she also reported that the sound is gone.

On a side note, it was friggin frustrating to follow my car in the slowpoke Vios, especially when going uphill and looking at my car steadily pulling away from me  .

Lol, funny thing is, V12k suspected that it was the extractor, and I came to suspect that it was the catcon.

Ultimately the truth was literally somewhere in between

Anyone knows where / what sort of solution can be proposed in order to solve the noise that comes out from the engine ?
It sounds like 'tak tak tak tak tak' doesn't matter you are accelerating or set to neutral. Is it the sound of timing belt ?

I am currently in the mileage of total 67K ++ ...

Any idea how much does it cost ? .. Sounds like something serious to me.
