Google will integrate its new Google Drive online storage service with an upcoming version of its Chrome OS operating system. let see if we can update to next android that have dual os feature with Chrome OS; with docking station, desktop monitor, keyboard and mouse, once dock, instant switch to Chrome OS without reboot, just like moto webtop or ubuntu.

Maybe not on our GNex?  blush.gif

Even their ChromeOS is not officially launched yet. No where to be seen. sad.gif

Nah, still faced that problem with AOKP b32 which was based on IMM76D. Had to do the OC/UV tweak to avoid the disconnection. Somehow my settings was reset without me knowing how/when.

Now on CM9 AOSP, never get disconnection, despite it was based on IMM76D.  hmm.gif

you dunno about samsung or acer chromebook? hmm.gif
luckily I din take AOKP as my practical daily use. that's great, CM9 serve you well..

Heard of Samsung's Chromebook, never followed Acer's news.

But are they selling it here? Last I checked at Samsung Store in LYP, the person there has no idea what the heck is Chromebook. doh.gif

Know here I can check out the demo unit?
*
doesn't matter it's available or not in LYP; but if chromebook not selling in Malaysia does meant ChromeOS is not officially launched yet. it's official launched but only available at US for product. launch not equal to available. that's the point.

Wooohoo! Alright! I'll go with _230.

I hope BT issue is not caused by Lean Kernel. Will try BT first before I patch Lean Kernel, test again then only go SuperCharge.

Added on April 29, 2012, 9:14 pmIs there 4EXT Recovery for our phone? I flashed it into a colleague's Sensation XE, damn beautiful. It even shows battery level in the recovery itself. So awesome that you prefer to look at the screen rather than using a Windows Phone. Hehe.

EDIT: M5 + Lean Kernel, BT working so far. Trying V6 now.
*
so far never see before 4EXT on gnex but if you just like the battery level in recovery itself, you can flash touch edition of CWM. I'm using it, it's included battery level and touch enabled nav keys. if you're bored with just black background, there is a folk from xda modified further and adding nice design of background.

anyone knows if I buy a galaxy nexus from Amazon.com whether:

1. it can be used here
2. warranty is international
3. power adaptor is suitable

anyone with this experience do share.  thanks
*
2 version of gnex in amazon, if you buy GT-i9250 then ok. if you wrongly bought LTE version then cannot use here. no international warranty, US adapter is 2 pin, just use convertor. anyway, if you're long term in malaysia, not recommended since samsung malaysia won't serve you. why not just buy AP set here. about the same price. if you want the best warranty, of course is SME set but pricey.

for those want to buy gnex and having question about internet sharing or vise versa, here you go:
1. USB tethering working as stock, no issue at all. (reverse tethering never try before. possible but sound complicated. suggest wifi connection)
2. wifi hot-spot working fine as stock, no issue at all. (reverse tethering is nth to do with gnex, is your pc/nb configure thing need to be done. google it, this question also discuss in previous thread too.)

AOKP ROM Milestone 5 Build.
It's so far the BEST, IMO.

Or Liquid Smooth ROM Build v3.5. Faster than AOKP ROM.
But, it has GPS problem. Yet can be solved by flashing a small file.  thumbup.gif

Gummy ROM!
Stable! But, lack of customization compared to AOKP and Liquid Smooth.

CyanogenMOD 9 ROM!
Stable! Fast! Nothing more. Extremely LOW customization capability.  sweat.gif

There's still some other ROMs... But, not as famous as these.

Kernel... I shall recommend:
a.) Franco Kernel
b.) Lean Kernel
c.) GlaDOS Kernel

Oh yeah, regarding the notification lights, any app that's useful to harness its power? I'd like it to blink even when I'm using it. Make me more alert. biggrin.gif

yes, those similar apps are not recommended to be running at the same time, might causing conflict. so choose the only 1 that you need or the best suit for you.
