QUOTE(Jackygwh @ Jan 20 2006, 05:04 PM) I think sometime ago, read that cannot wear police/army uniform but if it's foreign ones should be ok kwa. The whole concept (misguided though) is to prevent impersonation and abuse of power. Get something like marpat and desert dpm's should be ok I guess since a lot of street clothing also follow those patterns. |

QUOTE(providence @ Jan 20 2006, 08:54 PM) We wore army pants and boots during our trekking in Taman Negara after the SPM exams. For nothing kena tahan by a group of army patrolling near there. Got lectured like nobody business. That's the most stupid thing I've ever heard...yeah right...simply shoot...as if lar there's some vietcong hiding in the jungles of taman negara. They told us not to wear these types of clothes as they are not aware of any other teams patrolling near their area and they will consider us as 'threats' - in other meaning, they can shoot us if necessary |

QUOTE(Rusty Nail @ Jan 25 2006, 10:39 AM) sniper, you tested those guns before? Tested quite a few of them since a couple years ago..tearing coke cans are fun how's the spring action guns? It's the cheapest range in the market right? I'm thinking of getting spring action shot gun or handgun, because i find AEG bb guns are too noisy (refering to cute version). But the most fun is the KSC Glock 18C...compact size, can use green gas, full auto....split second can empty it's mag on the target di. Seriously thought of getting that but then think of the price+ cost of changing to metal slide (a must for full auto pistols) = banyak mahai. I got a SIG SAUER P228 springer but generally speaking, springer's are much weaker than AEG's or gas bb's. Most most can dent a coke can only while a stock gas block back or full powered stock AEG can cut it into half Less accurate too cos it either dun have or only with fixed (often lari di) hop up. But the most stim springer to get is a sniper rifle...I think by HFC...It's relatively cheap... less than half price of a Marui M4... single shot spring powered....300fps. Can't go wrong with that. Jackygwh: Last time posted before..later go home dig if still got the pics and if weekends go out....then take some pics lor. |

QUOTE(Rusty Nail @ Jan 26 2006, 03:39 PM) No ler..that was the only pic that I could find though I've snapped a bunch last time. For skirmishes, most will use KSC or KJW Glocks or Beretta's since they're a lot more practical and reliable. The DE's are just for sitting in the shelves only. Totally not practical...huge...can't find a holster for them...for that size...it's better to carry a small MP5K or better still.. Glock 18C's or Beretta 93's full auto.... John Woo style. And gas blow back is still the best for pistols...AEG sux's with them. |

QUOTE(Hangmen @ Feb 4 2006, 05:17 PM) I don't know why the hell would you despise an excellent lightweight pistol made out of 60% synthetic materials, but I assume you're somekinda traditionalist who prefer handguns made out of 'classic' materials. Also, as far as what I've learned, the Desert Eagle is quite a good pistol. The use of .50 Action Express (AE) gives it tremendous stopping power and, being an Israeli-made weapon, is a reliable handgun in service conditions. Its only drawback is the expensive price (for both handgun and ammo) and the strong recoil it generated which suggest experienced users with strong arms as its intended shooter. So far, I never heard of IMI firearms with the tendency to jam, but if you have a source to prove it, post it here please. Actually the browning's already waaay too old already and unlike the 1911, there's not as much of a following in terms of versions. As for the SOCOM....waaaay too huge... a USP does almost everything the SOCOM can with much smaller profile. AFAIK, the Browning High Power is only available in calibres of 9x19mm Parabelum and .40 S&W. Also, Browning HP is more well-known for its popularity among Commonwealth countries and also for its reliability, based on its 70+ years of service record. IMO, for the most customizable handgun (which also happens to use 'lovely .45 calibre bullets'), my vote would go to the H&K Mk. 23 SOCOM. And Jackygwh, all of the pistols in the Glock family are made primarily from high-impact polymer (plastic for commoners) with strong resistance against physical abuse, poor weather as well as having a good grip even if the user's palm is sweaty. Please remember that 40% of its parts are still traditional steel and metal, like the slide and its operating mechanism. Glock 21 and Glock 30 supports .45, but as with any modern handguns, the choice of 9mm is standard. QUOTE(pengster @ Feb 4 2006, 08:54 PM) woah sniper i envy u man The very existance of this thread made me bid for a Para P14 at yahoo auction Let's see if can win. Don't wanna spend too much money on a toy. |

QUOTE(Jackygwh @ Feb 5 2006, 12:20 AM) Not para as in the machine gun lar...Para-ordanance P14 which is a modified Colt 1911... http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/prod...sp?prodID=15622 There's a couple going on yahoo auction taiwan quite cheap. The link above is the one I'm bidding on. Nothing special about it..not really powerful..no adjustable hop-up but the build quality is ok..and since it's just for saja syiok...why not right.
