Bro, gas and AEG type airsofts no need pull back typically. Only springers require pull back. For sidearms, gas types may be exempted depending if it is a blowback type or not. Like my KJC Beretta M9 (gas-blowback), after expending the final round, the slide will lock back (macam real sidearm). Then after change to new mag, release the slide and a fresh round will be chambered into the barrel. In my humble opinion, if anyone wanna buy sidearm, I strongly recommend a decent gas-blowback..... trust me, the feeling memang cannot challenge everytime you pull that trigger and the slide cocks back. Macam real!!

Below is my small arsenal of sidearms. The two "Tomb-Raider" HKs are springers while the USP is gas. The M9 is gas-blowback.

- My pride and joy, M92FS

Yeap, springers basically are "manual". Pull back once to fire once. No exception on that. That's why many people go for gas or AEG.

Bro, the way I brought mine in was extremely high-risk. Tapi nasib baik nothing bad happened. I've been playing airsoft sejak 2001. That time I kat overseas so main macam giler la. hehe. I had an MP5 AEG that time. Nak bawak balik sekali but I tot that one too big and easy to notice la. So baik I ebay it off. hehe. You ever tembak a GBB?

Hehe, I dunno about the "better than sex" part la hehehee but I understand what you mean. Yea bro, you should work back your old contacts. I also looking for a GBB SOCOM. DE too big. I prefer something less "in-your-face". hahaha.

BTW, a lot of movies these days use airsoft GBB as props coz they look and behave like the real thing.... just a little FYI for everyone.

As far as our gov ban this kinda thing I think got good and bad la. The thing is generally msians are not ready for this kinda stuff yet. Macam kat overseas, even airsoft, you cannot simply just toss in your car and drive around with it. Kena ada responsibility like make sure the orange marking is there and such. Kalo tidak, nanti mr policeman think you're armed and hostile, tembak you mati by accident.....one thing about these tho.... they're also potentially dangerous. Not to the point airsoft can kill people, but I'll guarantee you it can take an eye out so everyone who main this thing must have the common sense of treating it as though it IS A REAL weapon. Simple rules like, never keep a round chambered unless you're actively using it, never pointing it at people outside of the gamezone/shooting range, etc... stuff like that la.

If anyone here has a SAW or M149 AEG please please let me know how well they shoot. I read that the TM ones are totally badass. They're supposedly able to spit out bullets like a stream of water. hahaha

Lol, bro don't misunderstand the US. Although you have the right to bear arms in the US, it is also highly regulated. In the US, you can own a rifle (or anything that cannot be easily concealable) without a license i.e: and M16 or M4 or a pea-shooter. However, these rifles that you can legally own have only 1 fire mode, semi-automatic. They cannot be modified to "unlock" other firing modes (i.e burst fire or full automatic) because the firing mechanism is completely different. So its not as great as you think.

As for handguns, don't even think about it. Although generally its easy to pass for the license but the whole process is long and tedious. You'll be required to go through a thorough criminal background check, psychological analysis, etc. Then after all that, you can have a "concealable weapon" but you cannot carry it around with you (i.e go shopping with your pistol tucked in your belt). You are only permitted to keep the gun in the car or at home (the specific rule I believe is "not on body").

Hehe, if you want to know how I know, its because I actually went and enquired with the Secretary of State in Michigan for it..... hahaha... imagine the white folks looking at me, an asian kid......

Hehe, one last thing.... you don't want to be playing "capture the flag" with your friends and using real weapons and live ammunition.... coz that's gonna be a really quick way to lose your friends.

Yeap, I agree. That is correct. While I was in the US, I met a relative of a relative and he was a member of the STARS division of the Chicago PD. He packed a Glock 17C as his sidearm and he let me play with it (unloaded ofcourse!). He gave me a word of advice on possessing guns as a civillian. Even if you have a gun, its always smarter to not use it say when you're being mugged because being untrained to handle firearms, its easier to inflict harm to yourself and everyone around you. So I asked him what I can do if I'm being mugged and I'm armed? He simply said, "let him mug you.... a couple of hundred dollars isn't worth your life or the s**t you have to put up with after everything goes south."

By the way, just wanting to share my experience with you guys, the Glock 17C is as you know mostly plastic.... its light as hell and it really feels like a toy in your hands. The best part I love about it is the absence of the traditional hammer for the firing pin.

Bro Cyrus, unfortunately I also have no access to greengas. I was hoping one of the bros here got jalan to help me get as well. It is like the metaphor you used, really potong stim. I suppose alternatively, if gas really hard to come by, you can replace that with the compressed air cans normally used for cleaning computer components? I haven't tried it myself but I'm sure it should be fine.
