My personal review

Exterior
Nice design for a family sedan. Not quite sure where to look though. I have look at the spot welding. Sure hope proton can hide that for future production.

Interior
Simple. Ergonomics can be improve on handbrake. My elbow touches the center, a bit troublesome. Passanger glove compartment not easily close. Coz i'm reading the forum then i know how. Also hard to recognise which is button or indicator. I think non issue coz after u own it u know. Just first time show to public must label them.

Test Drive
Short test drive at the back of factory road. Cannot test the speed NVH well.
D Mode
- normal driving and acceleration

S Mode
- press pedal 75%, car accelerating quite fast but cannot feel the intensity. approching tigh corner with 75% pedal then fully release pedal. Can feel a bit of engine breaking around 60kmh. (not quite sure if its in S mode or i use manual and down shift one gear) but definately feel the engine breaking. quite fun

M Mode
- Ealier in show room feel the protronic shift like a toy joystick, but in reality its good. soft touch to down shift and up shift is ample while driving. Small steering to compensate the hand ability to reach the shift tronic easily. Proton ergonomics in handling is very good. The car move swiftly and feel glued to the road. (im not exceeding 100kmh).
- playing with pedal shift is nice. gear indicator is small and it mix with other number/indicator. hard to see what gear im in.
- emergency brake. this one i like and u can try this. very nice. CAUTION. insist your love one and SA wearing seat belt. In clear road and straight line and from stop. using pedal shift, change gear at 4++rpm. i think gear 3 already 90kmh. then hard brake. no sliding, no oversteer. no understter. it stop in straight line with no streeking sound. the ABS work perfectly with no jerking. Hazard light will automatically on. Can feel a bit of adrenaline rush for a normal driver like me. You done the emergency brake successfully if the hazard light is on. If not try again.

Verdict

- I booked mine already
- wife will never go test drive with me.
