anyone got chance to test the audio?

kelmarin go showroom, cannot test the multimedia because of "sila masukkan no pin"..
then when i ask the pin no from SA, first SA said dont know, then he asked another SA, the other SA also dont know, then ask another more experience SA, that experience SA just keep quite and layan other "potential" customer...

mat79 not sure whether you represent Proton or speaking on your own, we sincerely hope all the comments made here and other blogs will be used to improve the quality of the car.

I think we Malaysian still have this Proton is crap mentality and therefore is sceptical about how good this car is. Of course, the dashboard could have been better. In fact, why not use the original idea (the one shown in the presentation on monday?) Too costly to build perhaps?  I think the key to a good dashboard and HU is simplicity and clarity. Trying to be too smart may not be a good thing.

Just dropped by Proton COE at Shah Alam, and spotted a lot of Preve lining up and ready for delivery.

I didn't manage to test drive one. In term of built quality, it has improved a lot compared to other Proton models. 1 thing I found which is better than my current Civic2.0 is the solidness of shutting down the car boot. But, Preve does not have any button to open car boot except via remote controller or from the car.

erm...how many speakers in the car....i didnt pay attention to the speaker location when i go "molest" the car two days ago...
anyway, planning this friday two hours break go test drive the car...but in penang got so many traffic light, think cant test top speed... but can test cornering though...hehehe...

i think most probably is the rear seat being too straight but i find it ok and much better than persona, probably sit like a waja.

for me, feedback, critics are good coz pointed out the cons which i think they will take note on that. Bash mindlessly is diff. If mentioned too plasticky, of course all cars used plastic, even the germans. Not comparing with the top mrques, just example, if u take a spin on vw golf, u will notice, the upper dash is soft, but bottom part still plastic. Even on door panel. But the refinement is more on german marques,

About gap, if the gap is consistent, meaning same size of gap, so, that is not means not good quality, the things not good is inconsistent gap, thats finish probs. If something too loose(meaning only on some, the other ok), then its fitting problems. Like the ac dials, they are design, diff from persona n gen2 dials, to make it smooth operator. For some, it feels loose, but it doesnt means its broken.

Yup, cant compare with german marques or even any conti. For japs n koreans, my opinions, maybe japs better, but only just tiny bit only, but on materials used, its better for the same price car coz material selections is really time consuming for them based on the benchmarks cars.

regarding the cvt..imagine turning out from a junction...suddenly realise got a car coming towards u..step on the gas hope to quickly turn out..but havent reach 2k rpm..car cannot move...then bommm! ...lol

cvt doesnt really feel like a normal auto car.... even honda city idsi when u release brake pedal the car wont move one.. different abit so u need to adapt to it.

It moves, but slower than an AT.

My FLX creeps slower than my old Waja and my family's Vios. It's no biggie, as long as it moves without pressing the throttle.
