Bro, i have opposite feeling regarding Static Bending Lights. I am extremely amazed and happy as mine was just working fine. I kind of like when i straighten my steering wheel, the lights will go dim before it switch off. 

But i have one question, when will the hill start assist activate? Does it depends on the degree of the slope or any slopes will do?

The side lights only light up when the steering wheel reaches a certain degree of turn. Not sure what it is. Try taking sharper corners and see if it works.

is always dimmer when is rainy day/wet road. Sometimes I even thaught my car light wasn't on (my old car, haven't received my k5 yet). Maybe also due to mist. I been once to genting when is heavy mist. Seriously, viewing distance is like 2-3 meter only. With high beam is even worst!

Maybe can try at dim parking lot?

Just do remember that at speeds over 100 kph if you involved in bad accident, our k5 not designed to save you n fmly n other people! Even the 5 star crash safety rating only done at max 80 kph! I have seen enough death, injury n madness on msian roads n overseas to know it is already lottery every time we drive! Please slow down n enjoy the great music system, the scenery n preserve your safety n your loved ones! Even at 80 kph u already traveling at 22 m a second n think about reaction time etc n also defensively about the many kopi o lesen types who share our roads with! That is my view n leave it there! Yes sometimes I go fast but very rarely! Also k5 look better when others can see it n appreciate it's sleek lines , a white bullet at 180 gone too quickly!

This has become funny,really. Theres a bunch people here bought the car then talk all moon n shine about it.
Another corner is people who are angry about the shoddy treatment they got from dealers who -there is no other way to say it- lied to the f face
then the owners here tried to play down the lie cases and cover up whole thing just to chill potential buyers. The reason is i believe not to cause panic and scare others and at the same time to save their own ass for being lab rats
one fella even pushed the foruming to a whole new level by constantly and actively bashing a rival model.

A wise act wud be wait till next week as many are promised they will get the cars.a little more wait shudnt be a problem but come next week still no car, then u are advised to pull out all deposit and booking.
