I tried running at 32psi for 1 week. Lower road noise is noticeable (same route of course) but can feel the car roll a bit more in corners. I noticed tt i oso lost 2psi when i checked again. I used a digital pressure gauge before n after. Wonder if this is normal to loose so much air pressure in 1 week?
*
if your rim is ok. I tried before for my previous car. 1 month - 2-3psi lost only.
and also the psi might be diff depend when you check either noon or morning. or just long distance run.

if your tyre loose alot psi within a month might be rim dent or puncture. smile.gif

Now its my turn to feel the pain. Was hit from the back by another car this morning. Nothing serious. Just a small dent. I checked with Kia and a new bumper costs RM 1250 not including painting & workmanship. The guy even had the cheek to say 'Wah finally i get to see how the new Optima looks like...damn nice eh?'.  doh.gif

Any good reliable repair shops in KL or Ipoh to recommend?

(btw, i think the reason why many of us getting hit is because ppl maybe too engrossed in looking at our car..hehe)
*
if ipoh, try find kg.tawas paint repair shop at jln k.k. just upper UWM toyota about 200m.
Traffic light turn left. and 1 row turn right. they on the 2nd row corner. you should able to see alot car park for spray / repair

They spray and repair dent and also hand quality is good if you ask me. Price = depend your 'wife' injury smile.gif

but.... if you lucky they will do asap. usually alot car there. so you have to wait.

I don't know if this is applicable for the K5 but the air recirculation is suppose to shut itself off on start up. For all Euro cars, including Mercedes Benz etc, it will shut off after awhile to let fresh air in if the air recirculation has been switched on. Upon engine startup, the air recirculation system is OFF by default as well even if it was switched on when you engine off the car.

http://www.euro-gasman.com/PDFs/C2%20Examp...s%20Testing.pdf

They have some safety law in Euro that states the amount of CO2 present in an enclosed space cannot exceed a certain amount for a certain period of time. Seeing that the newer KIAs are all designed and have European designers, they may have adopted the same system.

It LOOKS like the K5 air conditioning system also has a CO2 sensor like a lot of the European cars to comply to this safety law.

frankly speaking - i dont think naza kia will increase the price by 10k - if it does, it will bring itself too close to the peugeot 508 == will you buy a korean or french car for the same price ? ?
*
true indeed. unless the 2.0 GDI coming in at 10k extra. biggrin.gif

is that the same as the turbo version ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=479v1DnMjGk
*
if is 2.0GSI turbo = yes. same with US spec. smile.gif

so far I know only 3 type engine + 1 hybrid in KIA K5

2.0, 2.0 turbo, 2.4GDI and a hybrid.
