Welcome rihuhs!!! Name added!

Yes, this Gb is mainly aim for people who has very bz schedule or has less time in pursuing this hobby. Unlike most other group builds in the net, which requires hours n hours of work n crazy modifications, we r thinking of doing something lighter.

Just enjoy the build. I think 1 1/2 month should be pretty sufficient. Just plan ur time well. smile.gif
*
yeap. sure will. targeting several off days for really pushing it. flex.gif

my previous progress quite bad for 2012. only built one RG (the Freedom) so far and took almost 2 months to complete even only snapfitted due to very tight work schedule plus some other personal stuff. hoping for something better for the Unicorn. ganbarimasu!

As per stated in the rules n regulations... completed kit thread with the title "BTB:...." need to be posted in pla-zone's respective sections. Otherwise kits wont be judged. please read the first post carefully.

As for wip, u can open a thread over there, or just post here for everyone to see.
*
oh. I might have missed that. thanks for clarifying!

looking so far so good.... i dont see any problem smile.gif but honestly, if one is not a decal person, working on a ver KA will make him curse like hell....tongue.gif

I oso currently doing wing ver ka, the dry transfer i really rclxub.gif  will post some photos up, showing how my dray transfer decal crack..... cry.gif
*
I always use if not all, most of the decals given with the kit, but the Ver. Ka is really challenging and quite a pain-in-the-behind to put all of them, even got some at almost impossible places doh.gif

well, I have been warned (by online reviews), and I've taken up the challenge. it's my first time with a Ver. Ka kit, so lets just hope it'll not ruin the whole experience (and my precious time, too) laugh.gif

Same same here. Actually i have never used any decals or stickers that comes with the kit; n this round i was like, "why not?" n take up the challenge.

As the chinese saying: catch worm n put into you @ss..... rclxub.gif

I realize i m really a noob in using dry transfer n stickers.... NO---OB!!!!! blush.gif
that chinese saying is.... blink.gif

anyways, all the best for all of us thumbup.gif

i only got my handphone for photo taking...Samsung Wave 575...that photo are the result using my phone
*
you might want to re-adjust your focus, and tweak around with white balance and contrast. try using macro mode, and try to get the subject in focus before you snap the picture. unless your phone got manual focus lah. hehehe laugh.gif

umm, if you talk about red 00, it is not painted coz the kit itself is originally red
but i really do some minor painting on some parts
*
yeap. some necessary supposed-to-be-grey parts, main issue with HG 00 laugh.gif

most likely, with added chemical to make it super reflective i guess?

omg my group build kits are coming very slowly, only snap fitted the feet of my RG Freedom, today jz finished painting the arms of my MG Zeta Plus  sweat.gif
*
my MG Unicorn only completed its torso & waist unit about a week ago, and I haven't touched it ever since. got a lot of things going on now. not enough time (or energy) to spend on this GB. hopefully I'll make it in time sweat.gif

Officially there is less than 5 days to due date!!! Gambate guys!!!!

I realised except a handful, many of the members dont even bother to come check out any updates in this thread; makes me wonder what's the point of this group build.  sad.gif
Anyway, just a reminder n new announcement:
*
I always checked on this page, but got nothing much to update here so decided no to do so. my working schedule is really holding me back sweat.gif

luckily I got the next couple of days free, so really need to put 120% on completing my build sweat.gif

the cover's photo looks fabulous!

thanks! wish it could have been better though sweat.gif

I don't own a DSLR or a proper digital camera, and due to time constraints, I just get it on with my phone camera unsure.gif

just completed the kit this afternoon, and straight away proceed with photoshoot. tried to use dark room with lighting, and I can't seem to find a right setting for my phone to capture good looking photos. ended up using natural light, thus limiting my time to do the photoshoot doh.gif

all and all it's a great experience. never been this serious with taking pictures of my kits laugh.gif

I don't think it would be any issue for me to come during kit submission day, but to attend the prize-giving ceremony would be quite a problem since I'll be working on night shift for both 9th and 10th of June.

I'll try my best to make it there smile.gif

Cool bro!!! Ok, we believe work always come first, hobby second. Try your best. The submission is more important as i say cause if there's prize, we can still keep it for ya for a month.
*
I'm worried more on post-event model/entry collection than the submission and setup sweat.gif

no worry, if u trust me or VincC, we can always help u collect the kit first. Later when u free only collect back from either one of us.. no worries, there will be a bunch of us in sg wang on that sunday
*
that IS a huge relief. I'll try my best to attend both display setup and post-event gathering sessions, and also somewhere in between brows.gif

meet you guys this weekend! icon_rolleyes.gif
