Though I'm a newcomer in LYN, I hope that this thread would help some of you out there to beware of this ID:Danxy in LYN

My story as below:
I was trying to get a pre-order of Diablo III Collector's Edition and I found his thread in LYN. Everything is going smooth until the T/T part. I can say that I'm lucky since I was in overseas now and I asked my friend to do me a favour and make a T/T to him. The seller never provide me his name while he gave me his account number. My friend worried that I might get scammed, she key-in the account as usual and before she clicks the "OK' button in online T/T she saw his name (Steve Goh Kok Chong) and google it. Result turn out that he is a SCAMMER! He scammed in lots of forum! So we stop the payment to him now. I'll provide all the link down here as a proof for LYN members: (Please click the link below)

As the result from above, I can believe he is a FULL TIME scammer He changed his nick in LYN and tried to scam someone else. I hope that LYN could remove him out before other members fall to his scams.

It's a great practice/ "precautions" to google name and acc no before bank in to an online unknown person. To TS, you're really lucky to have such friend or else your money would be gone by now. Anyway post this link to that thread to warn others.

Yes, lucky enough almost get scammed.
I've tried to pm others who left message on his page.

way to go dude.. thank god u didnt get cheated.. hate cheaters n liars.. arrgghh!!! hopefully LYN will ban him off here for good..

came to any agreement with the scammer because short on funds.

fallen victim to the scammer. Pity him. He paid RM300 as deposit.

Apis you might want to check other threads selling Diablo 3 too. Some of them have the similar prerequisites/steps of purchase such as minimum deposit of RM300.

It really looks fishy to me.

well, danxy replied that he will give us within end of this week. which is suppose to be 27th or 28th of may. if he intend to delay this trade, I'm reporting him.

He refunded HunterIZ but I have yet to get my refund of RM600.
He offered to refund me almost 3 weeks ago already and nothing has been done.
Whenever I ask him he keep giving excuses such as he's busy or he's driving or he got into an accident.
You're already being reported and yet you dilly dally to serve the people who already banked in to you.
I even asked him a month ago if he was really a scammer and he can just tell me and I'll just go find another seller for the D3 CE as thats the only thing I care about. He told me he's not a scammer and to trust that the stock will arrive.

Now end up with nothing. Game not obtainable anymore, money gone. If he wanted to scam me when I asked him he should've just told me he was a scammer and I can just go find another copy of the game. Thanks to him prices of the game has increased and no more preorder price.

i dun think he would hav told he was scammer...if he did so...then u would hav a solid proof to report him..anyway, sorry for ur losses..

argh >.< so none of you get the D3 from him. i was lucky enough not to bank in for him, while he was trying all his best to persuade me not to believe on the rumours from internet, and yet wanted to proof me that he will deliver stock to the buyer, take picture of it and post it up =.=

Hi, are you referring to Goh Kok Chong? I've lost contact with him since March last year and filed dispute into the small claim court now has won the case and pending for his compensation.

This guy scam me long time back. Im waiting for the right time to lock him out. Let us together give him a lesson.
