QUOTE(Shizuru @ Apr 17 2012, 08:52 PM) For Gingerbread..TW is the smoothest compared to other 3rd party launcher. Though you still can use 3rd party launcher if you want to.ICS official not yet but a few custom roms that based on leaked ICS is available to play with :-) |

You can make a Nandroid either into your internal or external. It doesn't matter. When do Nandroid, put a name before proceed the backup. That way no need to remember what you're backup. Exp. DXLC2 2012-04-23 meaning backup for DXLC2 firmware.
Dont alter the title/name files AFTER the backup is done. Otherwise CWM can't open the files if you change the names/title. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 23 2012, 10:17 PM) My experience always do backup through recovery mode manually and is proven 100% restorable. But not so through the CWM app - sometimes backups fail to restore. So I never use CWM app to backup Yeah., there were times where i cant restore back the backup. The main culprit is changing the names after the backup was done. If didn't touch anything then no problem so far.Next time i'm gonna use recovery rather the CWM app. :-) |
