Omg, i'm having an Office app crisis here on Stunner 5.0, the Polaris Office which was pre-installed on every gingerbread is the most perfect office app ever, all the market office apps just sucks. Anyone know a way to install Polaris office on Stunner?

it's too bad i didn't backup polaris office from my GB rom cause it's part of Note's app.

for those using stunner, anyone getting email from Google congratulating you on your purchase of GALAXY Nexus? lol, funny stuff. Is stunner sort of based on Nexus?

For those with difficulties on using Stunner with no S-Memo, another good alternative is Evernote. It has a simple enough layout and even sync with your computer.

benny, have you gotten Polaris Office to work on your Stunner ROM? Cause i have errors opening documents in Polaris.

Still no working S-Note?

hmmm, after trying a huge of amount of office apps, QuickOffice looks to be the only contender for Polaris office replacement. Easy, simple, and quick way to view+edit office documents.

Added on April 19, 2012, 9:48 amOn Stunner, I just realised that i have issues transfering files from USB mount. Phone will hang and transfers are unable to start on my laptop. Superman7 is right, it's caused by the partial root issue. Anyone got the link to leaked chinese rom and a little guide here to help me root back and forth to Stunner?

And also is anyone using Stunner have this similar problem?

But one things for sure is, you get partial ROOT if you flash from rooted GB rom to Stunner directly.

yep, same prob as me pal. Bluetooth not sure. We got a partial ROOT issue here. Only way is to flash the Chinese LP1 repack.

Is it considered FULL root if i can view system files but not move them or copy something into system files through ROOT explorer. I always get the system file is read-only. Btw, i have flashed to Chinese ICS Repack and back to Stunner 1.4.1.9.

Lol just found out root explorer has a r/o r/w function which u can switch.I am able to read and write in system folder.that means i got FULL root on my Stunner.

Polaris Office doesn't work with ICS Stunner, tried it by restoring from Titanium, sure it can open but it can't open documents. Another good replacement for Polaris is Quick Office, all the other office app found in market are crap.

No, he basically give you options on what you can flash. I'd go with ICS Stunner.

ICS Stunner looks and layout based on Nexus ICS.
ICS Midnote looks and layout based on Original ICS for G-Note in the future.

hmmm , my sources tell me the size of SIII will be the same as SII. And it comes with Quad-Core.

You can always use Kies Air to transfer back and forth stuff. it doesn't require any drivers to be installed. just your wifi and your pc web browser.

So far Stunner 5.0 and Stunner 1.4.1.9 not much difference, the only noticeable thing is the CRT off effect is fixed and less bloatware installed, eg. DSP manager.
