sorry, but need to make some slight adjustment... it should be...

The Next Samsung Galaxy S
The Next Samsung Galaxy Note
The Next Samsung Galaxy Tab 10

for iSheep, from Wikipedia:
QUOTE
iSheep is a term used in tech sites and forums to describe a person who is an Apple Inc. products fan.

History
The term was introduced in May 2006 when SanDisk launched the "iDon’t" campaign to advertise the SanDisk Sansa. iDon't calls on "free thinkers" to "break-free from restrictive formats and a single source for music," with slogans such as: "You do not need to follow." The Campaign's site offered T-shirts, posters, and stickers featuring a monkey and asking "Are you an iChimp?" Another image showed a sheep and says "iSheep say Baah." while another showed a donkey trying to bite a carrot dangling in front of its face with the slogan "iFollow."

If these pics are true, it is than a big disappointment in the looks department. Phone looks so cheap !
These are definitely those in the make up casing to hide the real ones
*
true... i recall seeing a few more established websites writing articles about this and there's mention that the phones are in the standard 'decoy' casing...

so, while we dunno how it will look like (the actual physical size and the sides), but we can already roughly expect what to see on the screen...

what puzzles me is... still got hardware button when there's already a home button? or maybe hardware button is decoy? or the home button is customisable (as suggested by some websites)...

Well..the phone looks good to me. Still want to know the spec though. HD screen, removeable battery, micro sdcard slot and NFC features is a must. IF all that check then GAMES ON  :-P
*
i dun think samsung or any android manufacturers will not have removable batteries for phones... so, quite sure S3 will have, together with microSD. NFC... for me... nice to have. dun have also ok la... after all... specifically at you... i dun think you plan to use this phone for more than 1 yr... i think NFC still need 2-3 more years before reaching maturity in terms of usefulness.

HD screen... quite sure it will be 720p. smile.gif

Samsung announces quad-core chip for Galaxy S phone
http://news.cnet.com/8301-1001_3-57421616-...galaxy-s-phone/

Samsung's new chip -- targeted at both tablets and smartphones -- will land initially in the next Galaxy smartphone. "Already in production, the Exynos 4 Quad is scheduled to be adopted first into Samsung's next Galaxy smartphone that will officially be announced in May," Samsung said in a statement.

Sammy says it's shopping the new processor around to other handset manufacturers (like Meizu), noting that the Exynos 4 Quad is pin-to-pin compatible with the Exynos 4 Dual (the brains behind the Galaxy S II and Note), which gives designers the ability to update product designs with minimal costs.

isit something like PC?!? just take out old chip, put in new one... and walla! Quad Core Galaxy Note! smile.gif

Eldar Murtazin's instagram photo a few days ago.  He said the following himself:
I love the white gloss on the phones

A few things to take note on:
1.  The glossy surface might suggests a ceramic material
2.  The word "NG" indicates it's from Samsung
3.  The white finish looks like the white droplets/pebbles on the official 3rd May invitation
*
eeew... reminds me of white iDevice.

honestly, i'm impressed by some of the software features like

Pop up play
It lets you do two things at once: watch HD videos as you email or text.

Smart stay
It waits till you’re asleep: so long as you look at the phone, it maintains a bright display.

dun see why Samsung can't just let other Samsung phones have the same thing... smile.gif

in terms of specs and design, i know there's not much left that can be improved on (other then flexi screen). it's only going to be faster processor, more RAM (not in this case)... so, i'm not that disappointed.

overall, if the software can do what has been claimed... ya, overall, i'm happy with the annoucement/ event. but since these are software improvements, i am not really compelled to go out and grab one unit.

but if the software can be made available to phones like Note... Note will be super impressive. Already SMemo going for major and impressive revamp for ICS... smile.gif

The good old S2 is not a looker either, but its sales by tens of millions.
*
i have to agree... i won't really consider S2 to actually have a design. it's squarish. the only thing that was great for S2 at that time... thinnest smartphone in the market. that was impressive for the power functions it packed.

s3... at least you can see some resemblance of 'design'. it uses curves. it's no longer squarish.

just wondering why a pentile screen on S3?  The Note get the pentile becoz of the S Pen feature i think.  S3 does not come with a stylus, why pentile?  hmm.gif
*
i dun think pentile on note is due to the s pen. s spen technology basically requires another layer on the screen. it uses WACOM pen technology.

but ya... surprised its not HD Super Amoled Plus display. maybe that one is for Samsung Galaxy S3 Advance?

All the latest model that supposed to have HD screen did get pentile simply because the technology to make HD RGB is not there yet (economically speaking). When they mode from SAMOLED+ with 800X480 to HD, they need to revert back to pentile as they cannot yet make RGB version with such a high PPI. At least that is what I heard.
*
from wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_AMOLED
HD Super AMOLED is a new Super AMOLED type display from Samsung. The first device to use it is the Galaxy Note: an Android v2.3 phone with a 5.3" 1280x800 display. The phone (and the display) was announced in September 2011. The second device to use it is Samsung's Galaxy Nexus phone - with a 4.65" display with 1280x720 resolution. The higher resolution and dpi were made possible due to a change in materials and new manufacturing process, though still using shadow mask (or fine metal mask (FMM)) technology. However this required a change back to pentile RGBG subpixels.

High? Same price as S2 when they launched it in the UK. £499.95.

I expect the price in msia should be ard RM2100.
*
that is lower than Note's launch price...

Basically that is about the sama as what I was telling. Though mine sounds less technical. But you get the point. icon_rolleyes.gif
*
yes, similar to what you said... smile.gif

back to the S3 'design'... i think this is the first time i have to say that i'd prefer a WHITE version. the white version definitely looks waaaAAAAAaay better than the blue/ black.

GPS satellite. there are many 'providers'. GLONASS is one of them. nothing new. iirc, used by S2 as well.
