I really don't understand why people are getting all itchy about this Sgs3. What do you expect..a genie coming out of phone ? Wonder why Sgs2 was a hit ? Because of it's fluidity. I've used One X and even Xperia S. Still not near to the Sgs2 in terms of smoothness. And Sgs3 with HD screen and true Multi-Tasking, even more fluid. PenTile ? How many of us use microscope to view the screen lol. I admit the design is a bit let down but who cares if the phone performs well. The iPhone software and hardware all look the same still people buy it, cause of it's performance. There's xda out there to take care of this beast. Wireless charging and tons of new features..I really don't understand why so much hate lol. Recent superphones specially One X and Xperia S, first issue, non-removable battery. Android hangs a lot so it's a pain restarting those. No MicroSD, no thanks. It's not an android if there's no external storage. I'll get it whatever it takes, a loyal Sammy fan.

So far I had no issues whatsoever in my SGS2, been using it for a year now. This "plastic" phone owned all kinds of metal androids and other stuff. Samsung must have a reason for making them plasticy. Probably reception, or lightweight may be. If you want elegance, go buy a c7 lol. I'm sure people's mind will change after viewing more clear cut reviews. As I saw true multi-tasking i.e. watching a HD video while texting with zero lag, direct dial by the proximity sensor without even dialing etc. It's already blowing every phones out in benchmarks, according to GSMArena.

Camera: HOX wins big on this, burst mode of 4.0fps vs 3.3fps in S3 and you can also capture shots while on video whereas S3 cant which is a big setback; picture quality dunno yet.

*
Your HOX review seems like turned into Hoax lol. Who said you can't take still while shooting video on the S3 ? The phone has been announced a while ago and you have your verdict just by looking at development sets ? Bravo !

Err...how does one texting and watch HD video on the SAME SMALL SCREEN AT THE SAME TIME??? No logic lar bro...When i switch to other apps while watching video, the video is paused automatically...which is logic...you don't want to miss out the movie when you do something else right?? LOL.
You my friend then know nothing about the SGS3 lol. Samsung have introduced something called "Pop up Play" on this phone. Watch this video and rejoice + scratch your head at the same time.

I am a Hox user. Love my Hox, but honestly the S3 looks good and it comes down to your preferences. I can dare say the S3 is packing a punch under its trunk with its proc. But this year HTC has created a very very good device unlike last years Sensation/Sensation XE.

This time, its down to its user/fan base. If you want HTC or SGS3, it would be completely your choice. There might be slight differences here and there, but eventually, it would depend on your usage.

Kudos..true Android user.

The logic breaking feature "Pop up Play"..the user dragging a full HD video, which is also running/being played.. while texting with zero lag..

And the GPU is still unknown, probably a mali-400..with extra cores.

lolz....abit over-hyped ? must do a real life test only then can judge....

It should be good..Samsung never disappointed us with it's flagships. So far from the videos and reviews it's pretty impressive. I don't care what droid people say about it, they have freedom of speech. I just want to see the Sheeps drooling over some features specially Pop up Play and Wireless Charging module..

the GPS issue on the SGS is a dissapointment
the G version of SGS2 is a dissapointment.
no SD slot on the nesus S and Galaxy nexus is a dissapointment.
*
The SGS was Samsung's first step, so an issue is OK lol. The G version is only for few countries, due to shortage of Exynos SoCs, so, that's a Spin-Off phone. And nexus phones are mainly for developer use, they are Goggle, not Sammy flagships. No one and nothing is perfect bro. A little defect is better than a useless phone like Sensation.

Galaxy s 3 just below expectation.. outlook design still is a space of improvement for Samsung.

Negative comments are mostly from HOX users or fans..don't be silly. Support a fellow good Android phone. rclxub.gif

yeah I agree. nothing can be perfect. But this S3, nothing groundbreaking.
its not a bad phone,. but it doesnt tempt me to change my S2.
*
S2 is great. I'm so happy with it. No lag, no issues. You can keep it, still better than most of the phones. I like to shuffle phones, so i'll just go for it. Besides, how much upgrade can you expect over a year.

Why consoles or PS vita lol..it's about phones or tablets. If you want gaming so bad and if you don't have any fraction between Android and fruitOS whatsoever, go for the Fruitphone or Fruitpad 2..as the new fruitpad has no jailbreak yet. But for me, S3 should be the best, as the tegrazone has nothing so impressive.
