Instead of pushing for faster and better hardware, why not optimize the games in play store first? Most of the games in play store arent even properly optimized for dual cores, and the ONLY games that i know can really tax the processor and gpu is shadowgun and glowball.

Google should really start fixing the play store, not saying its a bad thing, but apps are what attract consumers, and right now, sadly, app store is still ahead of the play store. It's not about the quantity of the apps, it's the QUALITY of the apps that count wink.gif

Back on topic, agreed with shizuru, seriously? A 1750mah battery for a quad core? Seriously samsung? doh.gif

1750 mAh is acceptable since its removable

one x unremovable only 1800mAh...

Speaking of which, how is the battery life on the one x? Can it last a full day on moderate usage?

The fact...it is IMPOSSIBLE TO OPTIMIZE the apps...because Android is just like PCs....thousands of possible hardware combination...not like iFong...one model only..

Think like this:
Android=PC Windows. iFong=consoles.

Console games always optimized, even with inferior hardware. PC games...high end hardware also useless when the games only runs in DX9.

Anyway, i yam not too concerned about HP games...only good for killing time while waiting for wife shopping...no need complex 3D games....tongue.gif...

I understand that there is a crap ton of different hardware in android world, but should at least optimize for more popular hardware models like mali, tegra, powervr and adreno

meh..nothing extraordinary on design..
based on Samsung response, looks like it's the one..
how come the most anticipated Android device become like this..sad.gif
One X is more better

Thats cuz they put a plastic shell over their prototypes to prevent the 'real' S3 design to be leaked.

Hey guys wta the design only get to see on the 3rd ar? No official leak? Really hope this model they use metal or something other then plastic la..
*
Yea pretty much. Must be one hell of a design sice they're keeping it so secretive. The new teaser on samsung's denmark facebook page shows a device(presumably S3) under a cloth, thus showing some of the design, and based of the teaser, design might be similar to current gnex, not sure about materials though, hopefully they do switch to something more high quality, plastic's not all that bad, but metal would feel good

the design looks like a nexus under the cloth.

I just wished they toke into considerations their touchwiz.
*
So true, touchwiz is meh compared to vanilla ics. Still holding onto the dream of stock ics on sgs3, even though its unlikely sad.gif

kinda noob and outdated . is the camera 8 Megapixel or the 12 megapixel ??
*
8 or 12 MP, it's not about the megapixel count, it's the quality of the sensor that actually matters. MP is just a bragging thing, higher MP does not necessarily mean better image quality. An old 3 MP DSLR will still beat an 8 MP camera smartphone anyday, as the DSLR would have a higher quality lens
