that is true, but android 4.0 specs doesn't put much importance to external storage (since 3.0 actually) as your normal android 2.2 and up. that's why things like app2sd doesn't work on android 3.0 and up.
My Transformers and a Xoom punya /sdcard folder is not actually the SD/MicroSD card, but it's just a folder in the internal storage. my 3D games, mapping, shipping, geology apps + data always takes >32gb, so i have to shuffle installing/uninstalling those things every now and then.... damn annoying i tell ya.
i can always hope that the app/ game devs would allow you choosing where you want to install your data, but this goes against google's policy and usage of android 4.0 having a (not really) unified storage system.

judging from the size of the battery, i think they too have discovered a way to re-arrange the battery circuitry to pack in more mAh in the battery....
