QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ Dec 6 2012, 04:04 PM) A UEFI bios looks like this : i bought this laptop on 30 of september and i believe this model is suppose to come with windows 8,even the windows button on the keyboard(beside alt button) is the windows 8 logo, and there is UEFI for my model on acer website... Other than looking much better than the usual bios setup, it also allows you to select things using the mouse. Anyway, I believe that the UEFI bios is only compatible with the latest Acer laptop models that come with Windows 8 by default. You won't be able to switch to a UEFI bios from a standard bios.
