Hey! I was thinking of getting this laptop. The price is nice for the specs. Love that 4GB card! Question: How do you find it so far eh? I currently have an Aspire 4920, runs pretty hot

Upgraded the RAM from 2- 4GB last June as I intended to use it a bit longer

Its high time for me to change already, no dedicated GPU and all lol.
I was thinking of getting an ASUS but then I saw the V3- 571G. Waiting for the Haswell chips to be released too before making any decision. Please let me know what you make of this laptop yeah.. Thankss!!

Hey!!! I would say I'm happy with the performance so far!! It meets my basic gaming needs and so far I'm able to run most games to my satisfaction. If I didn't require this for work, I would definitely have waited for the Haswell chips, but I heard only the higher-end Haswell's GPU's would truly make a difference.
The things I love about it are:
1) Gorgeous IPS FHD Panel
2) Good performing GPU for it's price and performance
3) Comes with 8gb of DDR3 ram (will be upgrading it to 16gb soon)
4) Great processor for price point
5) Good speakers for a laptop
6) Comes with a numpad (I do alot of excel spread sheets and calculations! Lol!)
Things I don't like (or wished it had)
1) Laptop itself is cool to warm during gaming but emits alot of heat from the side
2) Not a backlit keyboard
3) Chassis is prone to flex, not as rigid as my Lenovo T420 (although it's unfair to compare with a business laptop but the difference is obvious)
4) Small gaps in between screen frame and panel (might be prone to dust entering)
5) Battery life is just average (with power saver i get just under 3 hours)
Overall impressions are great, the negatives are just my nitpicking. I picked it over other laptops due to the IPS screen (just can't go back to TN after this), the 4gb of VRAM is great for my photo editing and spreadsheets (although redundant in gaming). Would I recommend it to moderate gamers? Yeap! Photographers? Yeap!
Future upgrades will be changing the optical drive slot into a hdd and adding in a SSD!!!
