QUOTE(nganhong @ May 22 2012, 11:23 AM)
I managed to install Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3, got a lot of problems and but still follow up now:
(1) MBR dual boot (win7 OEM, Mac) on single HDD - OK
(2) keyboard, USB mouse, trackpad - OK
(3) ethernet - OK
(4) wireless - NOT OK
(5) sound - OK
(6) display - use default resolution (1024x768) -- Intel HD 4000 Graphics so far is not supported by Mac OS X
Hope this help.
Any users who have tried installing MAC OS on the V3-571G are welcomed to share their experience

Re-assembly of the V3-571G

An almost fully assembled V3-571G
Notes :
1. I applied a new layer of thermal paste for the processor itself, and the GPU, and cleared the excess thermal paste. I'll update the thread with temperature reports later with a new layer of thermal paste applied to see if there's any improvement in heat control.
Temperature Report : There isn't much difference in idle and load temperature.

1. Remove all of the screws found underneath the V3-571G.
2. Remove the cover covering the hard disk and the RAM module(s), and remove the hard disk and RAM module(s). Remove the screws found inside there as well, and at the same time disconnect the wires connected to a small board next to the RAM module(s).
3. Now, turn the laptop back up right, and slowly pry the black palm rest plastic out until it comes off, but do not yank it off as there is a wire connecting the touchpad to the motherboard. Once disconnected, remember to keep the black plastic tab that secures the touchpad wire to the port or risk losing it.
4. Once done, remove the single screw that is securing the keyboard to the laptop. Then, start prying the whole keyboard from the sides, or from the front until the wires connecting the keyboard to the motherboard can be seen. Unplug the two wires before proceeding. Their plastic tab that secures them to the motherboard can be left in position as those cannot move freely.
5. Continue to pry the whole keyboard off, there is nothing securing the keyboard but tabs. Apply gentle but constant pressure until the whole keyboard comes out.
6. Remove the wires surrounding or connected to the motherboard, and then proceed to unscrew screws that are securing the motherboard to the laptop casing. At the same time, pull or push the DVD drive out. There shouldn't be anything securing the DVD drive at all.
7. Once the above is done, you should be able to remove the motherboard from the laptop casing. Remember to put your screen in a position that prevents the laptop casing from toppling over with the monitor on it as the weight distribution is now bias to one end with the weight ( motherboard, keyboard and et cetera ) at the other end gone.
8. Everything should be pretty straightforward now, and you should be able to perform cleaning, replacement of thermal paste and pad(s) and et cetera freely.

1. Download all of the necessary drivers via the Acer link found above. Some category may offer two drivers for the same device. You will have to determine which one is the right one by entering Device Manager ( Right click on My Computers on desktop, select properties, click Device Manager on the left and you're there ). After entering Device Manager, if e.g the Touchpad has two drivers, one for ELANTech and another for Synaptics, go through Device manager and look for Mice and other Pointing Device and see what model is your V3-571G's touchpad.
2. Deleted. Jump to step 3.
3. Download Windows 7 64 Bits Home Premium ISO if you haven't done so from the link given above. It is directly from Microsoft server, so it is clean and safe. Be sure that you choose the 64 Bits version of Home Premium, not the 32 Bits version. Prepare an empty DVD disc or a USB flash drive with 4GB of space. Use the Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to create a bootable Windows 7 DVD/USB device. Set the ISO path to the Windows 7 ISO file that you have finished downloading.
4. Write down your Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bits key underneath your V3-571G. You will need it to re-activate Windows later after installation of Windows has been done.
5. Follow all of the above steps and there should be no reason on why your fresh installation of windows 7 isn't working properly.

If Windows tells you that your key is invalid, then reconfirm that the key you have copied from the Windows 7 license sticker underneath the laptop is correct. Once you have already established a connection to the internet, enter Control Panel -> System and scroll all the way to the bottom of the System page, and select re-activate Windows via phone after entering the activation wizard.
