QUOTE(jojoeljx @ Mar 29 2013, 07:59 PM)
Me; 17 years old · Female · 53KG · 153+CM · Have a slight asthma

I want to lose weight and gain some abs. I know that I'm not really that fat but, well.. everyone dreams for a nice body. Hehe!
Plus, I want to dance. I'd been wanting to dance since I was 12, it's like.. DANCE is my passion, my life. I'm just so obsessed with it. I LOVE DANCE SO MUCH UNTIL I CANT EVEN DESCRIBE MY FEELINGS rclxub.gif

But the problem is..
I have a slight asthma + usually get tired really fast(I'm not good at sports, seldomly/rarely do sports. It's like uhm.. I could get really tired in 5 minutes of jogging).
Plus, I have SPM this year but it's okay. I think I can handle my schedule for everything smile.gif

I'd been thinking to lose 8KG then gain abs? Is that okay?
So, I really have no idea what should I do and where I should start?
Should I hit the gym, and lose weight first? And try to gain enough strength before attending a dance class? And as I stated above, I want to have some abs but not a really obvious ones.
What exercise should I do & eat?
Thanks  biggrin.gif

hello jojoeljx,

1st of all, congratulation on your awareness to have a dream for a nice body!! thumbup.gif
a slight asthma shouldnt be a problem, start your healthy lifestyle NOW! Keep in mind that healthy body will eventually come with a nice body shape.

There is a few tips i can share with you:

1. Understand your body.

choose your exercise within your capabilities

Swimming/walking/jogging

Start with exercise with a minimum effort - build up your stamina and fitness first.
Depends on your body, but it may take a longer period of times for your body to adapt a new routine and make a note on your improvement for every each exercise for your own record

for an examples.
1st April - Walking XXKm (point a to point b) in 45 mins
3rd April - Walking XXKm (point a to point b) in 30 mins

29 April - Jogging...
you can see clearly your body will build up stamina and strength overtime.

2. Eating
for the start, eat less in quantity and more in frequencies, eat whatever you have dont change drastically
over a time subs your snacks with fruits/wholemeal based foods

3. Get enough sleep
after an exercise session your body needs to recover this is where supplements might help

4. set a goal and a period of time

consistency and motivation are the most thing you should not loose over a time. remember good thing doesnt happen overnight. And my asthma had gone forever!! hope you will get a really good benefits by changing to a healthy lifestyle.

Hey amin...

How old are you? Where do you live? Are you working? What exercise best suite you or convenience to you?

I'm about your height.. And have loss about 40kg's but i want to loss another 10 kgs.. And after losing so much weight i'm thinking to build some muscle.. smile.gif

Before you starts.. You need to do some research about your body type.. Eating preferences exercise that may suite you.. Your goals.. Your motivation.. And the main thing is.. To understand your body..

Your diet and exercise should be plan according to your goal, budget, time and fitness level at the moment..
