I don't know is this a correct thread, but what fat burner supplement is recommended? Or any other pills? My weight is stuck at 85kg. Weight is about 161cm. I'm not interested with diet or workout part as I really aim to reduce my bear belly. Thanks...

*Cardio exercise 40 minutes morning, 30 minutes evening.
*Meal is 5 times/ day, in small quantity. And yes, I reduce my drinking habit.

Hey mate, you get me wrong because I'm using the wrong word. I do diet, exercise etc but my body weight stuck at 85kg. Last month is 89kg. What I mean is maybe I need a fat burner supplement and I need a recommendation. And I don't need answer related to diet or workout. It's not that I don't want to listen but my main question is, what is the best fat burner supplement? Some would recommend GNC, Herbal life etc. Thanks mate.

*P/s: That weight lost is awesome. Hehe... Mind to share some of exercise you do?

Added on October 21, 2012, 12:25 pmI guess, I really need advice for the diet. Okay, I stay and work at rural and only go to Miri once every one or two month. It's hard for me to get food supply like those who stay at city or sub-urban. But I still can get some common food like chicken, egg, fruits and some vegetables. Can someone help me? Maybe it's due to my diet bah that make my body weight stuck.

You didn't manage to lose anymore weight because you're diet suck. Even if you depend on fat burner, you'll lose just a little bit more weight. That's it. Fix the diet.

Yup, I think so. Any suggestion for the diet?

QUOTE(TechnoG @ Oct 21 2012, 04:29 PM)
why not you try taking fat burners with a bad diet? smile.gif I'll just give you a fat burner with pretty high rating, animal cuts. Go ahead and use it with your current I-dont-bother-bout-what-I'm-eating diet. Fat burners do not magically burn tummy fats, it only suppress your appetite and increase metabolism.

In my pov, only if you have a beach date or whatever events that require you to look good topless, you can just pop a in few fat burners. And stop taking em after that.
*
Nah... Not target that but try to achieve balanced BMI and a healthy me. Ignore my last statement regarding I-don't-bla3...

Ah sorry for the misunderstanding then. Anyway from how I see you still need to cut down on your calories intake. Mind stating what's your everyday meal looks like? Also, what's your height?

For my weight loss I do mostly 30 minutes of cardio and some strength training. I would say most of my loss is from cardio smile.gif

Regarding your diet, it'll be great if you can cook and prepare your own meal. If you do, you can do a lot of wonders with just the limited ingredients which you mentioned. Just get some dried spices during your monthly trip to the town and you're set.
*
It's okay. Communication error. notworthy.gif Yup, my diet is unbalanced due to lack of time. I'd say it's time management. My meal is unbalanced where sometime I have my breakfast, sometime I don't. Sometime I didn't have lunch after I having tea and biscuits at 10am. Sometime I take dinner, and sometime I not. Single guy with a terrible life. My height is 162cm.

And I do cycling for 30 minutes at morning and 30 minutes of badminton session during evening for 1 week already. But I think want to alternate my cardio and home-based weight lifting from next week. For example, today I do cardio, tomorrow I go for weight lifting. Can suggest me a good meal plan?

I need you to be more specific on your meal, like what do you exactly eat for breakfast, when you say biscuits and tea, what kind of biscuit, how many pieces etc.

It will be great if you can prepare most of your meals throughout the day. For me, my breakfast is usually extremely simple. Dinner I prepare myself, or sometimes I have an extremely simple and light dinner, depending on what I have for lunch on that day.

A basic rule of thumb is to simply cut down your food portion.

I know what you meant but, sweat.gif can you just suggest me meal plan or timetable? notworthy.gif Actually, to be honest my meal for the day is, doh.gif Sometime I eat, sometime I don't. When I don't have time, lunch with maggie mee. sweat.gif Sometime just plain oat at night. And sometime just a cup of coffee and 5 lexus biscuits for dinner. rclxub.gif

I'm new here but I have experience from eating dirty and cutting down fat to experience for the best of my body. Is for my understanding. Well jogging works but it will take time to burn the fat off, cause the remaining fat must be the most saturated fat you are burning. From my point of view I would say that HIIT will help you burn deeper. smile.gif

Correct me if I'm wrong. wink.gif

Your TDEE is lower as you lose mass. You can either eat less or increase your physical activity.

Well, with diet control and physical activity I managed to shove 10kg. I decided to combine jogging alternate with weight lifting. And yet being more strict with my diet. To be honest, diet is the hardest part for me. Not because I can't fight the urge but it's really hard for me to get fresh fruits and vege. So I depend on oat, dried beans, and hi fiber biscuits. So far, I haven't found low carb and calorie recipe for those who can't cook or something instant. sad.gif

You don't need to eat those food all the time. You can also include burgers or other food that you like in to your diet. This will help greatly mentally which makes it easier to keep on going.

Dieting is not just all about eating oat, brown rice, salads or vegetables. This will not last long unless you planned on eating these same stuff for the rest of your life.

The correct way to do this is to figure out your TDEE. Once you have this number, it's easy to work from here.

eat less of your TDEE to cut
eat more of your TDEE to bulk

At the end of the day it's calories in < calories out. It's not the carbs that make people fat, it's the excess calories that they eat.
*
Uh... You don't get what I mean. What I mean is it's hard to obtain food here since I work in remote area of Sarawak. It's hard to obtain fish, meats, vege. Even if I buy my ration for a month a two, I can't buy a lot of fresh vege or fruits. My diet is based on canned food or food that can be kept for long term.

Okay, back to TDEE. So, I do some search and found related post at ScoobyWorkshop.
http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

Is there any simplify version about TDEE. sweat.gif I read few times but, kinda hard to understand.

I think there's a fk load of sodium in canned food. That can't be good to you, long term. About TDEE, basically it's your maintenance calories based on your daily activity.

Like me, I lift around 5 days/week + some accessory work on my rest days (abs, etc), 0 cardio. I've tracked what I ate for a month and based on weight that I lost within that month, I did my own calculation.

- I eat 1600 calories/day.
- I lost 1.6kg within that month
- Assuming all of those are fat. 1.6kg of fat = 12320 calories. So 12320 calories / 30 days = 410. So I'm at around 400 calories of deficit per day.
- Since I'm eating 1600 calories + 400 deficit = 2000 is my TDEE.

Hope you get it.

Yep, I'm f*cked up when comes to food since it's hard to get fresh foods here. That's why I reduce can food. Just wondering those canned green peas are safe, including the tomato sauce kidney beans.

HAHA, yeah i know all are easy to get control like workout everyday doing your physical and you gym session.

BUT there is only the food that bring your temptation higher. Let's put is this way like me - I'm now gaining weight for a moment just to eat all the nice food out there and and i knew that I'm losing my abs and in my mind know that I'll gain it back if i control my calories intake and carbs. So you have to remember that food control is an experience you try it and u know how you will feel like.

It will take some time for you to control, when you start to control your intake.... COME ON BRO! Don't go and count your calories and carbs! Thats not the point yet cause you not a pro (u know what i mean.. I guess! ^^ ) Basically to start controlling your food intake you should know what is bad!!

About the cooking u can try time to time preparing your own meal by watching a lot of youtube videos and try some of it. I was once there to like 5 years book... EVEN BURN MY FRIEND EGGS! haha.... I dont know what am i talking so late but im trying to reply you in a FUN WAY! tongue.gif
*
Lol... You don't get what I mean. I can control my portion and intake but the uncontrolled is the food source it self. sweat.gif I have no problem with this when I'm at in place where I can easily get food. It's just that living here damn hard to get food. Haha...
