QUOTE(WingKalimdor @ Oct 19 2012, 05:00 PM) My ways is reducing carbohydrates like rices to two spoon, avoiding oily food, calories intake less than 2k per day. Been doing cardio on treadmill for 30 minutes 3 times / weeks. Weight training after cardio for another half hour. During working, walking up to my seat using stair instead of lift. All these doesn't seem good to me. Do I really need to go for side supplement?? what kind of supplements are you looking at? fat burners? if you want to observe a major difference (provided with good diet) then you can go ahead with it. normally during workout days I'll take around 3500kcal per day, non-wo 2500kcal and cutting 1000kcal which is what I'm doing right now, cutting for this whole month since I'm having my exams. Gonna get some protein supps soon cos I can feel my cutting phase is draining my muscles. Try increasing the intensity of your workout?

QUOTE(alien9 @ Oct 19 2012, 04:38 PM) Why do you need to do that? There is nothing wrong but if you want to vomit all your food, then go ahead. I'm asking this question is because that my mom keep asking me whether is it okay to eat after intense exercise/ workout. Cuz I eat my dinner right after exercising at 6+ She thinks that it might be bad for my body. So I went online and do some research and most of the online articles said that its best to eat right after exercising/workout because its more efficient in absorbing the new calorie intake ( dinner) to repair the muscles. I don't get your reply though. You're saying that its bad or its good? I will vomit if I eat too soon?

I don't know is this a correct thread, but what fat burner supplement is recommended? Or any other pills? My weight is stuck at 85kg. Weight is about 161cm. I'm not interested with diet or workout part as I really aim to reduce my bear belly. Thanks...
*Cardio exercise 40 minutes morning, 30 minutes evening. *Meal is 5 times/ day, in small quantity. And yes, I reduce my drinking habit.

@wing, try mixing up your cardio abit. SLot in some intervals..as if you do the same 30 mins running every other day, your body gets used to it. Also, its better to do your cardio after your weight training, not before

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(Kriish @ Oct 20 2012, 12:55 PM) Here's the bad news, diet is the foundation of any weight loss program to work. It all comes down to how much calories you've taken in and how much calories you have used. Also, spot reduction (i.e. to reduce fats from a certain part of the body, in your case, your abdomen) is impossible. Thus in order to lose your beer belly, you have to reduce fat in your body overall. It may help to tell us what's your typical daily meal, and what cardio exercise you did (including speed and resistance if any) My Credentials : 20kg in 3 months (Click spoiler for pic) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Left : 97KG Right : 78KG And I'm still not done yet It's all down to the simple rule of not taking in more calories than you burn. Best part? I did not need to starve or abstain from having meal with friends, drinking session or parties (Disclaimer : I only do those stuff once or twice a week, I still have 5 days which I can manage my meals by myself). Maintaining a healthy weight is a lifestyle change, not a short term program. Hey mate, you get me wrong because I'm using the wrong word. I do diet, exercise etc but my body weight stuck at 85kg. Last month is 89kg. What I mean is maybe I need a fat burner supplement and I need a recommendation. And I don't need answer related to diet or workout. It's not that I don't want to listen but my main question is, what is the best fat burner supplement? Some would recommend GNC, Herbal life etc. Thanks mate. *P/s: That weight lost is awesome. Hehe... Mind to share some of exercise you do? Added on October 21, 2012, 12:25 pmI guess, I really need advice for the diet. Okay, I stay and work at rural and only go to Miri once every one or two month. It's hard for me to get food supply like those who stay at city or sub-urban. But I still can get some common food like chicken, egg, fruits and some vegetables. Can someone help me? Maybe it's due to my diet bah that make my body weight stuck. You didn't manage to lose anymore weight because you're diet suck. Even if you depend on fat burner, you'll lose just a little bit more weight. That's it. Fix the diet.

Maybe it's due to my diet bah that make my body weight stuck. why not you try taking fat burners with a bad diet? I'll just give you a fat burner with pretty high rating, animal cuts. Go ahead and use it with your current I-dont-bother-bout-what-I'm-eating diet. Fat burners do not magically burn tummy fats, it only suppress your appetite and increase metabolism. In my pov, only if you have a beach date or whatever events that require you to look good topless, you can just pop a in few fat burners. And stop taking em after that.

QUOTE(Kriish @ Oct 21 2012, 05:50 PM) Ah sorry for the misunderstanding then. Anyway from how I see you still need to cut down on your calories intake. Mind stating what's your everyday meal looks like? Also, what's your height? For my weight loss I do mostly 30 minutes of cardio and some strength training. I would say most of my loss is from cardio Regarding your diet, it'll be great if you can cook and prepare your own meal. If you do, you can do a lot of wonders with just the limited ingredients which you mentioned. Just get some dried spices during your monthly trip to the town and you're set. It's okay. Communication error. Yup, my diet is unbalanced due to lack of time. I'd say it's time management. My meal is unbalanced where sometime I have my breakfast, sometime I don't. Sometime I didn't have lunch after I having tea and biscuits at 10am. Sometime I take dinner, and sometime I not. Single guy with a terrible life. My height is 162cm. And I do cycling for 30 minutes at morning and 30 minutes of badminton session during evening for 1 week already. But I think want to alternate my cardio and home-based weight lifting from next week. For example, today I do cardio, tomorrow I go for weight lifting. Can suggest me a good meal plan?

QUOTE(Kriish @ Oct 24 2012, 07:52 AM) I need you to be more specific on your meal, like what do you exactly eat for breakfast, when you say biscuits and tea, what kind of biscuit, how many pieces etc. It will be great if you can prepare most of your meals throughout the day. For me, my breakfast is usually extremely simple. Dinner I prepare myself, or sometimes I have an extremely simple and light dinner, depending on what I have for lunch on that day. A basic rule of thumb is to simply cut down your food portion. I know what you meant but, can you just suggest me meal plan or timetable? Actually, to be honest my meal for the day is, Sometime I eat, sometime I don't. When I don't have time, lunch with maggie mee. Sometime just plain oat at night. And sometime just a cup of coffee and 5 lexus biscuits for dinner.

As I know female is hardly to gain muscle. How should I tell her that dumbbells workout is really a fat burning exercise ? She does not believe me anyway.

How should I tell her that dumbbells workout is really a fat burning exercise ? She does not believe me anyway. It is a fat burning exercise. And your right, women have a VERY hard time gaining muscle. Honestly, the number of gals soooooo perasan that they are somehow going to be special and have the ability to gain huge muscle sooooo fast is ridiculous. A woman JUST starting to weight lift (the first 6 months of serious weight lifting is when a person has the greatest ability to gain the most muscle in the shortest amount of time), IF she weight lift SERIOUSLY (definitely more than 2.5kg dumbbells... ) will be considered talented and naturally gifted to gain even 0.5kg a month. It is f***ing hard work. However, if she doesnt want to weight lift, it is completely possible to lose weight with a great diet in place. Figure out how many calories she burns a day - figure out how much her macros should be (no diet should have 0g of fat, carb or protein) then plan a sensible diet around it. Educate her about the importance of maintaining her current muscle mass by consuming the necessary protein and a little weight training (no need weights oso-just use own body weight). If not, the scale will say she meet goal but the mirror will show her saggy undefined body failed to meet her goal. And what more important-what the mirror says or what the stupid scale says?
