QUOTE(DT1 @ Jul 16 2012, 09:47 AM) You don't need to add swimming if you're already on a good weightlifting regimen. I'm kinda greedy, wish to get six packs as soon as possible, of cos, even if can't, i'd want to build up real good stamina and firm the entire body to fit fit condition Then again, it is a great form of exercise. Easy on the joints, builds your stamina, and stress relieving. Do it in cold water, which will lead to more calorie expenditure. Yea, doing in the indoor pool, damn cold |

QUOTE(DT1 @ Jul 16 2012, 09:55 AM) Edited my post above. Diet is good, I have very minimal carbs, and high protein and fiber diet. The only problem I face is, I'm eating too little Yeah, the main thing is to watch your diet. For your case, exercise works like a supplement. You can't run away from solving the diet part. |

QUOTE(DT1 @ Jul 16 2012, 10:28 AM) From this post you sound like a skinny fat person? Eat more. Force it down, with the right foodstuff. Be consistent. First week or two you will feel really uncomfortable, but as with everything in life, once you pass the first threshold, you're set for success. Er... I was fat, as I was on very bad diet, everyday snacks and soft drinks/fast food Anyhow, managed to lost very fast, and maintained nicely but because of my eating problem so now is a skinny fat lo, body fat stucked at 19% never drop |

QUOTE(xing87 @ Jul 16 2012, 12:20 PM) My body weight stay at 68kg for almost a month now. I've been doing cardio 3 times around 20-30 minutes each round and 3 times dumbbell lighting per week. Does my body still burning the fats in me? Increase the insensitivity of your cardio? I heard something like our body get used to the exercises already then will need to increase it to burn the fats/calories or something My bad, I'm lousy at remembering these kind of things |

QUOTE(xing87 @ Jul 16 2012, 03:23 PM) I plan to buy new pants too to restrict myself from getting fat in my waist Actually is quite a good way to motivate self, especially purposely buy one size smaller for your most favorite and beloved clothes, and you'll force yourself all the way to fit into that Need to wait until i'm toned up only i will do it |

QUOTE(alien9 @ Jul 16 2012, 06:57 PM) The flabby part should be a good indicator of you are losing fat. That part of your body becomes flabby because of the stretched skin. Yea, I know the important of rest for body, been there and cost me huge amount. Anyhow, now lesson learned and being good, the harder I workout, the more I rest my body Sometime less is more. If you become too greedy to have everything in a short time period, maybe you won't achieve even one goal. Remember, your body need a rest too. If you do exercises without having sufficient rest, your body might take the tolls and it will cost your dearly. As long as you have calorie deficit in your diet, your body will burn the required amount of fat in your body as fuel. But remember to not to have too much of calorie deficit because your body will start to burn away those muscles thus lowering your body capability to burn those fat. |

Just realize that my fruits intake (apple/oranges/mango/banana) giving a lot of carbs in my diet, kinda high though. Is there any suggestion to replace fruits for diet?
Read through from a link, it seems like there isn't any fruits in it though >"< http://www.squidoo.com/7-day-meal-planner |

QUOTE(DT1 @ Jul 18 2012, 01:51 PM) How about something from a credible website instead. Whoa, thanks! http://my.clevelandclinic.org/heart/preven...800calorie.aspx I'm looking through all, but because I'm a small eater, even though supposedly to have 1200 calories intake after minus 20% of deficit, but I could only manage to take in about 800 maximum I do eat a lot of apples as my in between snack, else would be only chicken breast with vege as salad, and milk (anlene!) and eggs, and fruits again Due to after going through some reading, found out that apple is kinda high in carbs and I would wish to maintain a low carbs diet, thus now eye-ing around and asking and reading and confusing |

QUOTE(DJJD @ Jul 20 2012, 11:43 AM) Don't agree. Yes, that's the reason why I'm facing problem with diets With the right regimen (diet, exercise, rest, etc) a low-carb diet (either high Protein/med fat or vice versa) can cut body fat quickly while retaining good LBM. Caloric deficit is a bit of a myth - 1 calorie of carbs doesn't affect your body in the same way as 1 cal of fat or protein. In fact the word "calorie" itself is misleading. Added on July 20, 2012, 11:47 am 800 calories a day?!?!??!? Are you kidding me! There are starving peasants in India or China that manage to eat more than that! Increase calories asap. You are screwing up your body, metabolism and digestive system big-time. Low weight, low calorie doesn't always equals healthy. If you are seriously eating 800 calories a day I will advise you to add a big mac to your diet every single day. Don't say big mac la, even McNuggets set also I can't complete a set by myself, I could only eat up to about 4-5 pieces of nuggets, 1/3 cup of the drink then I'm all done already, and that could actually last me for about half a day. QUOTE(gannicholas @ Jul 20 2012, 12:54 PM) I mix both. White mushroom and Canned mushroom + Chicken Fillets, diced . Here's a picture I doubt I can finish it myself 5 White mushrooms, 5 mushrooms in the can, dice it. Pan-fry with olive oil, L&P Sauce, italian herbs, pepper and a lil' bit of BBQ sauce ( Hunt's BBQ Sauce Original ) ![]() |

QUOTE(gannicholas @ Jul 20 2012, 01:04 PM) Serious? whoa!!! So many? >"< I can eat two/three big macs in one shot. Hehe. I eat alot Man, never had big macs in a very long time That was my maximum already, thus I always need a DBKL to help me clear food 1 set wantan mee also couldn't finish QUOTE(DT1 @ Jul 20 2012, 01:05 PM) As djjd mentioned, you're messing up your digestive system. Your appetite is screwed as well. And as I've mentioned before, you gotta force feed yourself with the right foodstuff. Add on liquid nutrients, e.g. green powders and protein shakes if needed. Probiotics will also do good in sprucing up your digestive environment. Yea, my appetite is real small, there are people say good la what la, but it's actually very suffering for me. I'm forcing myself to eat more nowadays, break into 6-7 meals a day, but still not enough, still need to take in more. I'm taking protein shakes daily, and also cod liver oil as supplements. Will try other supplement if can't improve by next month |
