Does anyone do any cardio on their rest day?
Starting a new workout routine, and has 2 rest days in between. I wont be gymming, but is cardio alright? Thought of getting HIIT done at home, or futsal/ muay thai. Or is rest day = COMPLETE REST. eat (maintain DIET), sleep and play |

QUOTE(skycrawler @ May 30 2013, 05:50 PM) My new workout has 5 days of lifting, mixing abs in 2 of those days. Its more towards compound workouts and super sets. concentration workouts only get the fats burning to a certain degree!Guess ill try to take a full day of rest, no cardio also..but is it advisable, just to have 5 days lifting + intervals/cardio(futsal), 1 day of HIIT cardio and 1 day of leisure sports (futsal). |

QUOTE(Chester @ Aug 17 2013, 10:21 PM) Hi guys, I'm doing an hour of thread mill each session, 3 to 4 times a week. For weight loss, better to do 60mins constant speed or sprint - walk - sprint - wAlk? Intervals has proven to be the must successful. 15 mins of intervals, or even 10..is better then an hour on the treadmill, as long as you really push it of course. |

Was just wondering, how do you count calories when eating out? Say the local chapfan or indian shops. Im a vegetarian, so i only attack vegetables.
Mostly stir fried or steamed(cauliflower/brocolli) veges in the chap fan shop and tofu, and indian shop is mostly tofu curry(not the super oily ones) and other stir fried veges Thanks! |

1. Ideally an hour and a half to two hours would be good.
2. try looking into HIIT workouts. Its proven to burn fat a lot faster (this is what you want, burning fat, and not thinking about "loosing weight" as you may burn other stuff but fat" |

QUOTE(beblink @ Apr 1 2014, 09:59 PM) 1. Have you tried working out after lunch or dinner? Would it make us even more hungry after that? 1. Depends on the time of the day and my schedule. Most definitely you will feel slightly hungry after a workout.3. i dont eat yam nor sweet potatoes. Bread would be okay? i dont do weightlifting though lol. Just want to mantain a fit shape as I had been gaining weight from holiday I tried running for 30 minutes and that is tiring enough for a newbie like me @@ Any suggestions for people who are new to work out? Like maybe less extreme? 1. How long did you work out for your first few times? Also an hour or two? 1. Have you tried working out after major meals like lunch or dinner? 3. my friend tried no carb and she say the effect was visible and quick 1. How long did you work out for your first few times? Also an hour or two? For HIIT? if done properly, i dont think you can last even for 30 mins lol. HIIT is really good in many ways, that even if u have like 15 mins a day only to spare, you can do it, and still loose more fat then 30-45 mins of hitting the threadmill. 1. Have you tried working out after major meals like lunch or dinner? For me personally, lunch, yes. Dinner no. I normally have my dinner after night workouts, as i would feel really hungry the next day if i eat before working out at night. also, it would make my workout begin late, like 9~10 if i had dinner first.. 3. my friend tried no carb and she say the effect was visible and quick never tried this diet so im not sure, sorry. Ive tried the intermittent fasting diet though. i can say i did see noticeable changes, but as many have said, its not for everyone. |

QUOTE(climacool @ Apr 26 2014, 10:25 AM) I need help.. doing a million crunches wont make you slim down your belly.I would like to burn my fat on belly..but I dont have much time due to working. Usually, 1 week 2-3 time workout at home (15-20mins)..I'm able to build muscle (bicep, triceps, shoulder and chest) but my belly still have FAT & BIG TUMMY My height 180cm, weight 81kg What should I do to slim down my tummy ? I was thinking to take API fat burner + ABS workout..does it work ? Any side effect on this product ? They recommend to drink more water after consume API... Spot reduction is impossible. You got to hit the cardio, and control the diet for that. |
