I was also approached by a Company to convert my unit to a Hostel.
Apparently they also assist in renovating the unit to a hostel unit for approximately RM39,000.
Net return to owner after deducting all monthly expenses (electricity, UNIFI, maintainence fee..etc) is estimated to be RM1,700/-.
I told the person that I'll rent the bare unit to them at RM1,300 and they can renovate it and let out to the students. No reply from him thereafter.
