I'm wondering how can we learn Japanese fast??
I'm not only talking about the conversation stuff but including writing hiragama and katakana etc.
I'm sitting for SPM this yr and I hope to futher my studies in JP.

[eng]the best way is to read a lot of manga, and of-course in japanese. pick one manga and read it several times. make dictionary(prefer the electronic dictionary) as ur best friend.
start with remembering all the hiragana and katakana, and the basic numbers...

to learn Japanese well, you must think in Japanese, young padawan...

Hiragana & Katakana is the easy part. When I started learning, it took me about 2 weeks to get to about 80-90% proficient in that with the help of flash cards. It's the kanji that is the killer, but you don't have to worry too much about that until you study for JLPT lvl 2.

A fews day ago 私の友の先生 (日本人) の友(も日本人)(complicated relationship ) want to go Penang to have tour. So my friend be their tour guide. My another friend and I fetch my friend to bus station and meet that japanese.

So, Japanese always have very good manner, so we decide to greed them politely to show give them a good impression on Malaysian.

So, when I see them I speak はじめまして　どうぞよろしく
Then the Japanese thought I can speak Japanese, so he spread a lot bla bla bla....

I stunded there and stop for a few second, then finally come out two words
何？わかりません！！！

LOL!!! That is my limitation . Later when my friend translate, then only I get what he mean, he though I can speak japanese, but after looking at my response he ask if I can speak Japanese.
He speak for so long, I can only understand 3 words, 日本語

Hmm, I'm too nevnous at that time, forget to ask them to take picture together haha,
ne, shashin tote kunai? (Is it like that? someone please show me the exact pronouciation).
