Yeah it is a b****, I'm sort of wondering if theres any sort of downgrade firmware option.

Because the 7.12 firmware does this ******* thing where it locks access to everyone(even you) and throws up a 404 after first access.

Use the Emergency Room. http://unifi.athena.my/ddwrt_guide.php Then just insert the old firmware.

The Emergency Room exists regardless of your version of firmware.

Hello guys,

I managed to update the firmware for my UNIFI DIR-615 from version 7.17 to version 7.19.

1) To get the firmware 7.19, you can download in from D'link official Malaysian website below:
http://www.dlink.com.my/dir-615/

2) At the website, please choose the firmware version 7.19 dated 02/15/2016 with the caption "Security fix release For Malaysia DIR-615/TM (Orange and White router only)"

3) After the file is downloaded, unzip it.

4) You won't be able to find the button to upgrade the firmware if you use the following username and password:
username: admin
password: (none)

5) for my case, I have to use the following username and password so that the button to upgrade the firmware is visible:
username: Management
password: TestingR2

6) If the combination of username and password in step no 5 above still does not work, please try and error the following combination of username and password:
i - username: admin
password: telekom

ii - username: operator
password: telekom

iii - username: operator
password: h566UniFi

The combination for the try and error usernames and passwords are obtained from the following website:
http://unifidr.blogspot.my/2013/09/how-to-...ink-router.html

7) After successfully logged in as moderator, click the Maintenance tab on the top row, then click the Firmware Update Tab on the left row. Then click the button 'Choose file' at the bottom of the page, browse the downloaded file (done in step 2 above), then click upload. Instead of using wireless connection, please make sure you use wired connection for this step.

Feel free to ask me if there is any part that you don't understand. I will try to assist you with whatever that I've known so far. Thank you and have a nice day.
