IINM I don't think there is. They have glossy screen though.

oh that's too bad sad.gif

is glossy screen an advantage? my old laptop (7+ years old presario x1000) didn't have glossy screen.

most newer laptops that i've seen have glossy screen, which i find to be quite distracting.

Changed my mind about screen resolution, FHD seems too crampy for 15.6" >.<

You can go for the N56ZM. Its a FHD 1920x1080.

Which Asus version?

The 14" N45SL should be available. The 15" N56VZ is a new laptop that has just been introduced. I heard its available in Malaysia already. Perhaps you can check it out in stores  smile.gif

The N56ZM is 1k more expensive though. I would like N56VZ specs, with HD+ or FHD screen. Hopefully those choices will be available later...

Thats because N56ZM has the FHD screen. Is the N56VZ going to have FHD screen? I think it only has HD.
*
N56ZM costs 1000 bux more because of FHD, Core i7, 1TB HDD, and BR combo. If there's a N56VZ with FHD = win!

Yeah, don't think you can get a laptop with GT555m or equivalent for that price, unless its 2nd hand nod.gif
Closest would be:
Dell
Inspiron 14R (Special Edition), i5-3210M + Nvidia GT640M(28nm Kepler)@RM2199[2.38kg], 4GB, 500GB(7200rpm); backlit keyboard optional

Close enough biggrin.gif backlit keyboard is welcome
