If you got mp3 player, you plug the fm modulator into the mp3 player audio plug. On the FM modulator, and then you on your car player audio and you can listen to it.

I dont suggest it as there are interruption noise. A line in (No Cost) is a better solution, no interruption or so.

FM Modulator can get at the price of RM50. I've got an extra one if you want, my previous one before I know anything about LINE IN.

Tell me if you want

thank you

thanks for sharing guys... i'm thinking of using the device with a thumb drive.. so i think i have to buy a thumb drive and the FM modulator together.. it's better to use this device because you can use it on other car.. unlike cd player which only can be use on the same particular car.. hehe

thanks! smile.gif

I too have just got this modulator. Tried on my 2002 Wira standard Clarion stereo set. Trying to find the best channel. I would like to find out how to tune frequency (mhz) bit by bit on this Clarion set. Everytime I tried to tune it, the frequency indicator just jumps and increase very quickly. Very difficult to tune to the right frequency. Thanks in advance notworthy.gif

used this easy mp3 fm modulator last year, yup easily one of the stupidest product ever.

the frequencies are to near to each other and thanks to our already cluttered airwave, u get free remix in few areas. sound quality? bad. when it reaches the last song in your usb drive, it'll stop...u have to unplug and plug in and start all over again. the songs also have to be arranged carefully during transfer from pc to usb drive, and of course, remember which track is your favourite song.

pros; cheap, no need wiring, transferable to other vehicle, gather 10 cars near each other, tune to the same frequency and all the cars enjoy the same song with only 1 unit.

this device is a no-no. there is no random play function. everytime you turn off the engine, the play list will reset back to the 1st song. so basically you will never get to listen to the last portion of songs stored in your pendrive.

indeed these kinda thngy got its pros n cons, its depend on ur likings, need n sitiuation actually..

my fren just got a ezydisk fm transmitter, so far tested in his car got no prob watsoever (i mean it act like normal transmitter la), although all d transmitter got 1 prob though.. it tend 2 produce d "szzzz" sound at d back when u turn d volume 2 loud.. n u HAV 2 turn it louder than usual 2 heard d song u r playing..kinda soft 2 me..but 4 some song u wont realize it, quiet songs perhap u can hear d "szzzz" sound..

d thngy is nice, u can select a few channel 2.. ranging frm 88-108, its quite ok 4 me.. it can read d mp3 even its in a folder, it will restart d song ONLY instead of going back 2 d 1st song when u on off ur car..

i've also tried this modulators b4, though with bad experience. did not buy it, cos the seller was kind enuff to let me test it 1st.

also had that ZZzzZZZtt sound jumping all over the place.
could it be becos of my amp? its a 480watt. maybe thats the reason for the interference.

anyone tried it without an amp and not have that sound?

with or without amp, the hissing noise will still be heard. the frequencies available are so near to each other and might even be the same with off-air radio available in malaysia! Most of the time I have to bring down the car antenna to enjoy it.

anyway, gave it to my mom, bought a cheap cd player and love it ever since!

I'm using 1 also .... sound quality wise , I would still prefer CD audios. But sometimes you jus wan to play songs that unavaliable in your cd bag. Its quite handy.

I am also searching for an FM Transmitter. I found that Twinkle B313E ( http://www.quantum-optimum.com/mp3/b313.html ) made by Quantum Optimum?has the function of built-in FM Transmitter.

this guy is on of the forumers who sell this item:
