QUOTE(mansooriqbal @ Oct 22 2016, 06:51 PM) QUOTE(darrenwks @ Oct 24 2016, 04:53 PM) So guys which protein brand is better in terms of serving, price, ingredients & etc? Is there any saying that if i wan to cut weight i should take isolate/100% whey instead of blend? Is R1 any better? Only took Dymatize 100% whey, ON gold standard, Syntha-6 Blend & Humabolic Nitro-Amino Whey before. Syntha-6 blend was the tastiest of them all. been taking R1 for a while. if u did some google its a good product since its ON branch family setup. i remember i did some googling last time and the fella compare R1 isolate with dymatize as well. Its just isolate and nothing else....so u still have to eat ur other food... i am taking the choc flavors... well without creamer and gum it doesn't taste as good as others.... i tried their natural isolate as well... milky taste.... not too bad at least for me but definitely not the best taste.

yo bro sekalian...wanna ask something... for normal gym goer and muscle builder maybe not hardcore type aka one week go 3 times muscle building... is it worth spending extra bucks for whey isolate or whey blend would be enough? Whey blend also provide similar benefits since its still whey right just that the absorption rate is slower. This info is from the sales guy... isolate like ferarri and blend is like motorbike... both reach destination. one fast and one slow.
i just want to know if it makes any differences... as long i lift my weight and ensure my macros are fulfilled even protein blend works?....thought of saving few bucks if it works the same.

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Jan 13 2017, 03:40 PM) If you do not know what you are eating, you do not know your macros, what you use as supplement is not important, because you do not know what you need to supplement on. You can be lack of protein, that is why you need whey. You might be lacking carbs, you will need lots of carbs supplement. You might be lacking fats, you might need olive oil or fish oil. Imagine what will happen if you can eat enough protein but lack of carbs. You still supplement on whey? Protein is protein mang. I don't believe in faster absorption marketing gimmick. yea did my macros and generally for me protein is hard to close the gap. for fats and carbs, i ll usually leave it to my omega and rice/bread/pizza/pasta/noodle/milk/oat etc... easily hit it. Thats the thing protein is protein but industry like make it so many types.... isolate la, blend la, concentrated la then casein la, bcaa la, etc etc.... big industry that full of gimmick... which in essence just protein. usually i look out on the ingredients though. ok la will just get the normal blend and see if i got any lactose issue or not.

QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Apr 8 2017, 09:40 AM) Cmon...blender bottle? Fake or authentic? What that shaker does is shake n mix. You can use a cup, a plastic bag or your fish oil bottle. Now you don't ask if those 3 are authentic or fake right? Geez. +++++1 fake shaker will melt half way

QUOTE(helven @ Jun 29 2017, 01:28 AM) May I lay my opinion? He's asking whether it is authentic, not comment on the bottle, nor how to shake stuff. Why make bb forum offensive? you are right.. guess we are just slightly sensitive.... apology...... the right response is... i never deal with that dealer before so i am not sure if that shaker authentic but you can get authentic shaker from many reputable eCommerce site

QUOTE(chrisderick88 @ Apr 15 2018, 12:44 PM) hi guys, I made a stupid mistake of buying a big bottle of ON gold standard 100% whey... I read online that it's "newbie friendly" whey, so I took it. Mana tau it disagrees with my stomach and causes gassy stomach (i have problem with gastritis, so I cant really drink alcohol/coffee). Anyone have similar symptom? Any alternative suggestions or should I just stick to eggs? My lifestyle kinda stop me from eating enough protein so even after gym for 3 months I have zero/little muscle growth... eh...what do you mean by big bottle of ON? i think stating the weight can help like 5lbs or 10lbs. if in tubs its 2lbs or 5lbs i think. ON is protein and not alcohol/coffee so not sure why you link gastritis with it? ur gassy stomach likely due to lactose intolerant? you can try isolates else just egg will do the trick also. in market they do sell albumin (egg white) in powder form if you lazy to eat those eggs or other non whey protein e.g soy or pea etc etc..
