1. You can only download Karkand through Origin , cause EA has not brought out physical copies for that DLC.Download size for the DLC is around 4GB (Couldn't remember , but it's within that number)i. how much would the karkand DLC cost and how big is the dload?

2. Quite a number of patches , if you don't buy karkand , you will be kicked out of the server when the server changes map to B2K maps.
3. Still no info on close combat , but my predictions would be around the same as B2K in terms of file size , you will need to buy it unfortunately.
4. As far as i know , all LE stock are already finished.
