Hi guys,
Is there a good arcade in penang where I can play either SF4 or SSFAE on a really good arcade cabinet/machine against a lot of other people? The arcades here are mostly just like those in pyramid where the selection is okay, but no crowd. I'm looking for a place that has a setup like that in SOGO where there are 8 SSF4AE machines linked together and you're always guaranteed to be playing against somebody. So far I've checked queensbay mall and there's no sf4 cabinet and gurney plaza where there is only 1 sf4 machine but it's running on a modded xbox.

Prangin Mall 6th floor arcade.. you want play SF4, TK6 also got... Even if you want to try you luck to win some money also got gambling machine... Very big arcade.. beside cinema...

Thanks, I think I'll check it out this weekend. Any idea of when there is a crowd to play with?

Cosmic Arcade Centre in Farlim (Some of the best players go there) near Old Town Kopitiam Farlim

Prangin Mall (near Cinema)

Megamall Pinang Prai (Near Cinema)

Went to check out prangin mall just now, pretty good atmostphere.
It had 2 original sf4 (50 sen) and 3 ssf4ae (non patched version, 1 rm).
Too bad it's not linked or up to date like sogo's.

I'll check out the one in megamall some other time since it's across the bridge when I'm on the island.

Could you be more specific about the one in Farlim? I tried locating it on google maps but I couldnt find any.

By the way, all sf4ae at farlim is 50 cents per game, 3 matches to win.

No wonder, google maps gives no results.

Are the games pre or post v.2012 patch?
Also, linked cabinets?

Added on April 17, 2012, 9:40 pmI couldn't find an arcade called cosmic, just someplace called cultural fun family entertainment center. It has 4 sfae and 2 sf4. Basically same machines as those in prangin but cheaper by 50%.

I go pacific to catch frog race and win money only... Sometimes win up to RM 1k - 2k sometimes lose 1k....

Went to prangin mall yesterday and asked for RM1 worth of token. I expected to only get two, but the guy gave me 10 wtf.

Is this because I went on a weekday and got 10 sen per token but if I went during the weekend it would be 50 sen per token?
