guys, something weird is going on with my ride.
u know that zipping sound the ecu makes when we wait for the check engine light to go off before starting?
weirdly, i was driving, and i could hear it zipping once or twice today (didnt on music and was stuck in mild jam at LDP)

this is the first time.  happened after i had some wiring done for DRL (as signal) and spotlights.  the key was left at ignition (final turn before starting) while the accessory shop fella was trouble shooting some wiring prob.  while he was trouble shooting, i could also hear the zipping sound at intervals (maybe every 3-5min).

anything i should be concerned off?
car behaves normally though.  sounds ok too.

i apologize if this is going to sound noob/offensive.

why do you guys decide to go for 17" rims?  i mean besides it looking garang and handling gain.

1) pick up and FC will suffer significantly, well unless you have snail or other hp gain (saw steven's youtube)
2) tayar mahal siut.  r15 (michelins/bridgestones) are nearly 40% cheaper than the r17 equivalents (unless you settle for cheaper tires)
3) kissing the fender/mudguard at full turn/passenger load
4) increase in rim theft (with or w/o locknuts) and higher chance or rim bengkok kalo kena pothole..

ahh, thanks steven!  trying to convince myself to get r17 too but am concerned bout the things i said (especially am a high mileage traveller and half the time i'm travelling on kampung-ish roads).
