Hi guys, i just upgrade my wheel to 17' ET40 7jj with 215/45R17....currently running on stock abs with more/less 3 finger gap for front and 2.5 finger on rear...

just wanna ask if it's a good idea to use R3 spring with stock abs in my situation...afraid its going to rub my inner fender and mudguard?

Currently with stock spring i didnt notice any scrapping against fender/mudguard when i do full turn...i think i'm okay with the rear gap but the front gap is too obvious....and it happen i saw 3 lowered, 17 incher waja with loss/damaged front mudguard  sad.gif

Haha i ve the same prob with u. Upgraded to 205/45/r17. Bought the r3 spring but still dun pasang yet. This is because my car always bring passenger one, scared if use lowered spring will scrape the mudguard or scrape bottom when go thru speedbump. Still deciding. hmm.gif

so far if u got a light weight 17" rim it should be ok.... the handling is way better than 15" rim and its more safer btw... never go odd size like 16" coz u will never find a perfect tyre series for waja...
*
Agreed with steven. Im on 205/50/r16 before. Hard to find tyre for 16 inch and the price is near to 17 inch tyre, (rm5-10 difference only). Thats y i changed to 205/45/r17 now.

alright, thanks for the input =)

True. 205/45/r17 is more than 3%. If u wanna stay within stock diameter, 205/45/r16 and 205/40/r17 is the nearest. Im using achilles atr sport at rm225/pc
