bro yeah the initial thought was like that to, but after the replay
the player was merely standing his ground, in fact he got sandwiched  sweat.gif

nah, from the replay, can see the Wigan player moved. If he had stood still, then its not a foul since he was just standing his ground...

err, are we going to face Wigan after this? Relegation threatened teams are dangerous..tho we got thru Wolves quite easy..

Yea he did moved, but it was also because he was Pushed, like i said sandwiched... he wanted to stand firm infront of de gea
a lil bit of pushing is by no means a foul, both parties played their part in pushing bit
De Gea made very lil effort or rather no effort in getting away from the defender
Now that i've seen it again it even seem like the Mu defender pushing him towards De Gea

When the ball went in, even the MU players were frustrated, commentators even said during the replay, there is so lil wrong in it
that it can't be considered as a foul
see the replay again....its nothing men
our keepers have been punished from corners this way to many time back then

That goal should be perfectly legal. De Gea did very little to wrestle his way to the ball and Gary Caldwell (?) just stood there as a distraction while Jonny Evans keep pushing him accidentally toward De Gea. It's normal tactic during corner kick. You can't punish somebody who simply has stronger physical presence. Just like Bobby Zamora tormented Arsenal defenders during QPR match by pushing and nudging.

Looks like Podolski may not be coming if AW is looking at Dempsey.

Wander how true this latest rumour is hmm.gif

Dempsey is definitely better than Chamakh and he is cheaper & older than Podolski.

QUOTE
AFTER banging home 33 goals in 42 games this season, it's no surprise that Man City manager Roberto Mancini is chasing Robin Van Persie. But unlike so many former Gunners who have swapped north London for east Manchester, the Dutchman looks set to turn down a whopping £200,000 wage packet to stay at Arsenal, according to The Times.

The paper's well-connected Matt Hughes says that Man City's recent collapse has given Van Persie "reservations" about cashing in on City's interest. He is said to favour a new four-year Arsenal contract, with the club apparently happy to offer their captain a wage rise from £80,000 to £130,000 and a tidy £6 million loyalty bonus. But don't expect any news soon: the 28-year-old is adamant that formal negotiations shouldn't begin before the season's close.

With one eye on new strike partners for 'Van the Man', Arsenal are closing in on Fulham's Clint Dempsey after club scouts made favourable reports to Arsene Wenger, according to the Daily Mail. The Gunners' boss has been told that the 29 year-old American would "fit perfectly into their system" and his £10m price tag is also well within Arsenal's budget.

Dempsey, who has scored 22 goals all told this season, is being hunted by a pack of Premier League clubs, but the Mail says Arsenal are "determined" to bring the Fulham frontman to the Emirates.

MU is great team, take nth away from them...as they are still favorites to lift their 20th title
the season is about to come to an end now,i would like to see them winning their games deservedly and convincingly
otherwise its pretty fuktup.
Cause 4 back to back contro really bothers me, johnny evans was also lucky not be sent off as well

anyways lets cut this topic loose icon_rolleyes.gif
i just wanted to set loose a lil bit of the overwhelming frustration inside that's all.

Wow, with this latest win, 3rd place is for Arsenal to throw away. Chelsea must be kicking themselves for loaning Benayoun to Arsenal. Lesson: Never loan your players to your rivals.

Well, if you visit their thread, you'll not see them kick themselves as you'd expect. They're SOOO butthurt that they claim to ''hate'' Benayoun and use his nationality against him. Such plastics. Some really uneducated beings exist there, really. doh.gif
