im getting 1 of it.. nintendo wii.. ps3.. n xbox 360.. can someone please recommend me? i want this console for my member to have fun in the game room.. not for my own purpose.. which one is suitable?

this is quite a personal q actually. u should do some youtubing, and it helps if u know the genre of games your family like to play.

but from your limited info u gave me, i guess you have kids still schooling, and u emphasize on playing together as a family. so with that in mind, i would suggest the Wii.

in this forum (or in malaysia in general) people look down at the wii. but don't listen to them, coz they are mostly gamers that have been brainwashed that the only way to play games is using a controller that has 2 gorgeous looking sticks for your 2 gaming thumbs.

ps3 ps3 self opinion best among the three consoles

my self opinion is also ps3. but my kids love the wii. u must be in their shoes to see why.

If have money, would love to have all of them~

honestly ps3 is amazing! But if u want to have fun with a group of people I guess WII would be a better choice!

ps3 is for one to enjoy with few of his friends in a small comfy room!

I would prefer the xbox 360 becoz my children loves playing with kinect.

I would say PS3 coz of the Bluray rom and fantastic graphics compare to xbox.

For a classic, retro kind of gameplay but with a top notch graphic, its gotta be the wii. If you are interested, i have one set for you

i own all 3,

wii game is more on family game, u can have fun with group of friend together,

for single player, i feel it is too tired to play regularly, so i bought the game cube controller but is not supported by all games.



xbox, i like xbox so much, just because of the controller, for me the xbox controller is so perfect to fit into hand,
and the xbox game loading time is so fast if compare to ps3,


but some cons is like,
1. the xbox have a bulky adapter,
2. u have to get a double A battery your self for the controller
3. need to pay for online gaming
4. original game is hard to get around here
5. games is using dvd, which mean for some game it is require fews disk and u need to swap disk during game play
6. i do own the old fat xbox, which no have build in wifi and battery, which mean evertime if i turn of my main power, the time and setting on the xbox will reset to 2005
7. cannot charge your controller, it mean if u on half way game and your battery is out, u need to rush to 7eleven and get the battery or else you cannot do anything with your xbox



ps3, good for multimedia, photo, music, use as a blu ray player,
dosent have adapter which i like the most
build in battery for controller, can charge while playing,
graphic is more nicer then xbox

the bad side:
1. stupid controller design, the triger button (R2L2) is an idiot , u get slip off then u pressing to hard or to long
2. stupid controller design again, the analog stick position cause your left thumb tired easily,
3. stupid controller design again and again, the analog stick is design with the 凸, unlike xbox with 凹 design, the grip is not there and u get slip of when turning to fast.
4. loading time is too long, compare with xbox
5. not enaf usb port ( slim type come with 2 usb port only)

Ps3

if u wanna play multiplayer games, go for xbox , party chat allow, and no server maintainace, if u wanna just play single player game, just bought ps3 with mod, u can install tons of game.

Added on May 9, 2012, 9:37 amdepends on wat type of game u like, wii for classic game, fun but not hardcore game, ps3 and xbox hv its own exclusive n had alots of game that release on both console, for both console game , xbox graphic and xboxlive > ps3. controller xbox > ps3, if u wanna hv frens to play around for shooting game or multiplayer game, u can team up easily with xbox party chat, even cross game chat.

yes, i buy ps3 also because to play jrpg games only..


still the controller really bothering me , when u run around the map using right analog stick, it is a nightmare

The Xbox 360 is a decent console IMHO. Controller-wise, it really fits the hand properly(ergonomic) plus the trigger buttons which makes certain games like an FPS much more enjoyable rather than pressing on a flat button.

Of course, the downside of it is the need to pay just to play online. So the PS3 Network would win in this case.

I used to own PS1 and PS2, but comparing to Xbox and its successor, I would still prefer the Xbox. The Xbox graphics are already impressive enough, but the PS3's has indeed improved since the PS2(a bad example was playing Burnout )

depends wat game u want play.

ps3 controller had 2 chances to change the controller design, but they never did.

it seems like my 2 thumbs are playing each other more than me playing my game.
