corsair h80 and im not satisfied ! later want to change WC if got more $$ so under stress without OCed also high temp ka ?? haiyo...how long shud i run this stress ? what is the main purpose for this test ??
The temp are also being effected by your ambient temp. If you really wanna do OC , its not a 1 - 2 hours thing then you can settle. Just like other said , do it step by step. I suggest 2 hours of blend in Prime95 for each increment in Ghz. And of course , you need to always monitor the temps in each test and i'll say 80'C and below are good enough. You wont hit those temps in real scenario such as gaming etc. After you hit your desired OC frequency and able to finish the 2 hours test without any issues like BSOD , restarting etc. Continue the test for at least 12 hours minimum. If you didn't get any BSOD , error etc. That means your OC is good enough. But always remember to check the temps frequently. If it didn't go through the 12 hours minimum test , perhaps u should add more Vcore ( depends on the BSOD code ) etc , lower your OC frequency and try again. Haish , you should have asked around or do some reading on OC before you actually doing it. No offend , but it wouldn't hurt to learn isn't? Cheers.
