I've used Jaring Wireless for three months (initial signup 3 months) and I don't think I need it anymore. Can I terminate the service now??? Anybody knows? TQ

Unless you're not in the flite package (aka the old 512Kbps/1Mbps) . Yep , you can do that anytime . Otheriwse you're tied for 1 year and 9 months (its a 2 yr contract)

If you're on the Flite package and if your signal is weak. You can do that at anytime. They will not refund your sign-up fees , etc. You need to make a report and then say goodbye

Thanks for your reply.

BTW, how do i know whether I'm in the flite package or not???

Secondly, I haven't paid for the service for two months because of semester break. Will I have to pay it if I want to terminate the service with jaring?

If you keep on using , you would see your balance going to negative integers . So you would need to pay up what you owe them and terminate it. To know if you're on the flite package , call JARING Support and find out. If you're on it. You have no choice to pay up for it.

Thanks.

My jaring wireless is now suspended. They have already suspended the service for me before i could pay the fee for the next month. My balance currently shows zero.

It's very unfair if Jaring simply migrate our package and tie us for longer period without further notice. They should have informed all the customers by letters and phone calls vmad.gif

They have sent an e-mail already , regarding this upgrade. If you have been following the Jaring WBB Topic , you will know that there is a upgrade. But I guess you missed that. They gave a fair amount of time for it. But now you dont have a choice , unless you could give a good reason for you to terminate the service , then go to the nearest JARING Anjung Center and terminate the service. Otherwise you will need to pay what you owe them , if you keep it any longer
