Why so worry about first batch plastic? If you were saying quality in terms of material used, fit and finish, the first batch would have the most out of it. Once the production ramp up, you might seeing the cutting cost approach take effect.

If you say being a white mice, then it is apply to all cars and might as well waiting for third, 4th, or 5th batch. Hei, why dont wait for a new replacement model? Oh wait.. need to wait for the 2nd batch of that new replacement model...

my opinion,
1st batch = iron out engineering problems based on user feedback / improvement based on feedback
2nd batch = more polished product, not low cost watered down version doh.gif.

if even supporters have doubt in the quality of second batch and beyond product from proton, i must say, proton has a tough time ahead.

If you use the torque, then yes it is equivalent to 2.0. If not, then it is 1.6 FC. So, advantages to CFE against the 2.0 NA.

if this is true, the car not even launch yet, and DSZ will not be in that event.

in fact we see najib and drb hicom new line up take the credit..

Global car is his idea... really sad.

btw, by letting go lotus, perhaps in next 3-5 years time we can get re-badge proton with VW's TSI (consider that TSI is no longer the latest tech by VW in let's say 5 years time?)

they said it keyless entry.. different manufacturer have different approach.

Preve i think better in terms of fail safe design compare to forte keyless system.

Not sure. But from the preview, they said you need to slot in the remote and push the start button.

it is probably not a keyless entry after all. I dont remember they have that in one of the feature list.

Yeah you can said it was initially to have all this and that... it is pretty normal in the design and cost stage. No surprise there. Unless there was a leaked official specs, and then somehow it wasn't there on the release date. THen you can claim 'initially it was there' statement.

to start a car? Seriously.. pushing a button or using key to start is almost the same. It just that it looks cool to have a push start button and it somehow managed to be one of the 'important' feature that people like so much.

Therefore in Preve, it just a cosmetic probably. But it received the feature plus point compare to others who dont have a push start button. Thats it.

You see how many people complaining 100k cars but no push start button? Isnt that stupid?

lol.. because of 'push start button' you can put that wording in the specsheet.

You cant put that if you slot in the remote and push to start. You still don't get it. No matter how stupid it is.. it just a featuer that makes people woahh.. the push start button was stupid to begin with.
