Well in my experience my CVT jerks during traffic jam as well. When releasing the acceleration due to engine braking, and when moving from standstill because of enhanced after remap response.

Hence, unless you get a throttle controlled to set for Traffic (aka, lower throttle response), most CVTs will jerk in jams.

Insight doesn't have this due to sheety low end as well.

You keep on saying that lol. I need to test myself but from pictures I can say the back seats are definitely more spacious in the Inspira - but we have sheetier boot space (unmodded with space saver spare tyre of course. Even modded I still think we'd lose). Give and take, fair trade I guess.

I get your point but for me, Malaysian mentality which always think negatively in whatever product that produced by Malaysian is need to change. Our people lack the spirit to support each other and more prefer to bashing blindly rather than use some rational thinking. This is just wrong.

Our people is not like Japanese, Korean, Germany and other country that have superb patriotism. Their own brand doesn't need protection by gov because their rakyat itself will protect their own brand. Their rakyat really know what is the best for their economy. I bet if gov doesn't protect our local brand, Malaysia is the 1st country that will been eaten by globalism.

After years of tarnished products, it's hard to get people to change overnight. Since when you felt Proton become better? Personally for me it's during DSZ period, and how many years is that? Now they want to rebuild the image brand. Slowly la, I can see the progress

Yerp I can understand that. I'm not blaming people that have bad exp with Proton car before. That's normal thing to happen. You mess up with me, i gonna fark you forever.
But since Proton already change their management and they do show show some effort to change, i'll support them but i do think too they need to progress more fast.
If they really mess up with don't care attitude in future, people can force them to close shop already or simply force down all current management in to dustbin.

Gather comments from the experts and test-drives here, I can conclude that Preve has excellent NVH, acceleration a bit sluggish before 2000rpm, spacious and comfortable cabin (but loses to RaRa), plasticky dashboard, and arguably attractive exterior and interior design.
IMO Preve deserve the global car status but the million-dollar-question is will it sell well locally and overseas? What say you?

I think P2 is doing alright, sure the car is not that great but from A to B it's ok. Like Vios ?

Another point to note, for someone with long legs, this is the first proton that could accommodate my legs without touching the steering...even without a telescopic steering wheel.

I'm sorry, but I don't get the "Premium" feel of sitting in a City or Inspira. Feels the same to me. Infact, they both make me uncomfortable due to the lack of legroom

Premium feel to me would be the Diana Merc. That one makes you feel like some mob boss

Dude, we don't know what sort of abuses that particular car has gone through .... for all we know, it could be some competitor sales guy deliberately spoil it and stage it to make Proton look bad ... as I said, ONE blardy picture and everyone says ALL Preves have problems. Sigh
