Haha. Alarm activated would be great! I don't like the thingy on McMerc, which the light stays on for a couple of seconds even after you lock the door. The blinking LED feature would be superb!

Rofl, if so forgive my shallow knowledge. If you say this car is designed by all the pros up there, somethinf must have gone wrong i guess. Subjective to my own perception though. If you compare preves interior to the other makes that you have mentioned, wonder will preve stand out? Not necesarily be the best but stand out. If you say yes then i guess nothing much for me to say here look at what kia is doing with their latest cars. Even hyundai aint that bad. Of course i wouldnt deny alot of jap models have shitty interior as well. To me the best interior that proton ever made was on the first gen waja, balanced and semi conti-ish. Oh well subjective la. No offense, looking forward for the reviews

I'm fine with most of the interior. It's the gear panel thingy that gets to me. I like the minimalistic approach...but it just looks so lack luster. And somehow, I think the bigname designers just didn't do a good enough job. Some of the design just doesn't jive.

Not to say that this makes it a bad car. Heck, it has to be. I booked it already! Proton is slowly moving forward I guess. We'll see how it goes come release.

Btw, anyone knows what the suprise is? I don't think it's the price reduction. Is it really the Yes dongle and subscription?

it is not to say die or not, but because initial perception was a LED probably it is a DRL, anyway DRL or not i dont decide a car based on this only,

yet of course i didnt understood the function initially, But that dont matter.

as long as it is comfortable, good power delivery, so it is more than enough for me, but only thing is proton still do things in a very funny way.

but for 72990 OTR, nothing to compare accept Forte EX only, which has less spec than the Preve

Here is my review after view d preve.

Pros
1)d outlook design is nice.d rear not so ugly when view d real car.
2)d rear seat legroom and headroom quite good.Rear seat is very comfortable for me n my wife as well.
3)d daylight wil auto turn on around 20sec after unlock d car.after start car,need turn on side light,d front and rear led lamp juz wil on.
4)d side mirror wil auto unfold once lock d car.
5)soft plastic at dashboard n door.
6)hidden door lock n unlock switch.
7)once lock d door after start engine,juz need pull d handle to unlock.if pull d driver side,4 doors wil unlock 2gether.if pull d passenger side,onli wil unlock one door.
8)the engine sound was much quiet than exora cfe.
9)the audio is not bad.

Cons
1)d aircont vent very tight to adjust left n right.for 4 aircond vent oso.
2)d centre panel stil looks plasticy.press it will got d sound seems like clip longgar.
3)d glove box difficult open n close.especiali when close it.oso got quite big gap along dashboard n glove box.
4)d driver left leg side wil kena block by centre dashboard.d left leg cant put too senget to left.
5)interior not spacious as inspira.if sat three people at rear,will a bit cramp for me.

all above cons issue was found in two test drive car oso.the conclusion for me is the preve is improve a lot compare to previous proton especially outlook design..the safety features is good and the interior design still can acceptable..but according my first touch wit the preve,i still can feel interior still quite plasticy..its improve alot,but still far away to regards it as a global car..still need alot improvement that the proton to be done..keep it up..proton..
