Anyone here ever try to apply research grant before? My supervisor and I tried FRGS but unsuccessful,

I am trying for Toray fund right now, does anyone here applied for other research grants before? huhu I've searched online but there are limited grants for protein work...

what about e-science? there are also, LRGS and ERGS depending on the direction / focus of your research.

my supervisor is trying e-science as well, LRGS and ERGS are not suitable for my work i guess cause my work are mostly on fundamental right now

most applications from biology, chemistry and physic department had been unsuccessful in FRGS, but textile industry and material technology (focusing on nano) had been granted grants huhu i envy them sad.gif

Keep trying and trying. They just released the FRGS receipient last week or so right.
