Having good rail is good but you need a lot of busses to bring people from the station to homes.

In Hong Kong there is buses every second

I know this is old reply but just saw this when the thread got revived.

I'm not sure about major rerouting of RapidKL though, we're still seeing quite a lot of long distance bus serving lines that already covered by existing LRTs. Near my Taman there is an LRT station(Cheras), there is a Rapid bus that come here that go through Bukit Bintang, both areas that are served by LRT and Monorail already.
