QUOTE(UpCar @ Apr 6 2012, 11:42 AM) my note can most likely last 4 hours before i need to charge it. Heavy use indeed.heavy user, wifi on, blutut on, music player running, constantly playing little empire to level up, klse index on. oh oh and occasionally at night i will be downloading some torrent via atorrent. dont wanna miss out on top gear and ncsi. so roughly in a day i can safely say i charge my phone 5-6 times inside a 24 hour period. cept that i leave my phone plugged in to the comp to charge most of the time. blutut? lol. |

![]() http://widefide.com/mobile/mobile-phones/h...pecs-comparison I still love my Note. HTC One X only have one advantage; it's Quad Core processor. |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Apr 7 2012, 08:06 PM) i suggest you read this,http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...=1419087&page=0 Basically, there is a small flaw on the galaxy note in which a wakelock called GPS or sometimes deleted_wake_locks will cause unending wakelocks causing the Note to not go into deep sleep, if that is the case, the only solution available is to reboot your Note. There is no permanent fix and there is no evidence on what causes this wakelock. Some say that different models of router will have tendencies to cause such GPS or deleted_wake_locks. |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Apr 7 2012, 08:20 PM) yeah.. I read it. I have encountered this wakelock 2-3 times a day. And some days, it doesn't occur at all. Weird as f**k. Doesn't seem to able to find the root to the problems too. At times the deleted_wake_locks are waking up more often and there are times it's quite less Guys on ICS, do you have such problems? ICS Note users, anyone encountering GPS wakelocks? |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Apr 7 2012, 08:30 PM) Do you have GPS wake locks issue too? I think the router issue theory is somehow correct, because when i connect to my college connection, the delete_wake_locks occurs. But when i'm at home, it's mostly GPS wakelocks. Some people might have that issue but mine seemed manageable for the moment. Approx 10mins+ wake up time during entire 8 hours. But not the deleted wake locks cos it's 2 hours+ in the entire 8 hours I'm gonna try rebooting after charging then reset my CPU Spy to see if it goes to deep sleep more often than 200MHz |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Apr 8 2012, 11:01 AM) so friggin dangerous man, the box they use is very similar to original. but the Note is fake as hell, as the front camera appears on the left side instead of right and the back camera is positioned wrong as well. People should report if they come across these in the market. |

hmm, i always thought that after rooting, all roms; GB or ICS, you just use CWM to flash to new rom, did'nt know have to touch mobile odin again. If official ICS come, do we also have to do the above steps in order to get ICS?
