wah ics stunner really that good? i went back to gb because of stability issues, most bugging me was when i tried switching from wifi on to tethering hotspot it always hang there during the last LP1 rom, is it corrected in LP5?
im using this flip down case.....not bad very easy to use, if answer calls or sms or surfing or gaming just fold it back hehe.....buy direct from ebay is cheappppppp.
does anyone know how fast 2G running? I found it does not consume much battery. And I noticed that it was too slow to load a website or refresh the fb apps.
2G GPRS about 40+kbps, roughly 5-6KB/s
2G EDGE about 200+kbps, roughly 18-20 KB/s
yeah 2G consume less battery than 3G but much slower speeds too, only good for weather or news widget update or text chat but not good for surfing or fb apps or video/voip calls.
Because is uploaded first by Modnote. it is the right LP5 modem Infact why don't try LP6 modem - it is indeed better than Lp5. Many XDA users has confirmed this

oooo benny can you provide the link to the standalone LP6 modem? thanks very much...
Read stunner thread post #1 install instruction. Is crystal clear. Dunno why not only you few others still doubt it.
actually post #1 is the new installation steps which i didnt try, older one is at post #4.. I didnt want to risk anything going wrong like a half root so i followed post #4 which is to flash ics repack first then flash stunner v5.0, and im coming from full root GB rom....up to the user actually.

To the doubting Thomas who email me about the Note glass is strong and cannot be scratch, here is my demo just now using a screwdriver, scissors and a pen blade knife testing it on the display. You DO NOT need any screen protector !
dont be too confident benny, those test are in controlled environment... i kena before my gorilla screen galaxy s2 scratch when put in my pants pocket with a few specks of beach sands/particles in it.....so a screen protector is still advisable anytime...
