What's the difference between tabletUI mode and phoneUI mode? More importantly, which is better?

Benny, have you ever tried changing the LCD density? I have come across ppl on xda forum who spoke about its advantages, ie. more "real estate" etc... Is it worth the trouble changing it?

I was on ICS Stunner 4.4 for almost a day and I must say it was just like what Benny said... Very smooth... I don't think I'm going to stay on it though... I feel like I'm missing something without the SMemo etc...
