You can only restore your Stunner rom backup using Abyss kernel 3.9
From CWM recovery flash Abyss kernel 3.9. Do not reset - browse to advanced select reboot recovery
Select restore and browse to select your backup rom
The problem is after you restore it, DO NOT select reset as kernel is now on Abyss
Follow it up by install LP1 kernel (get it from previous ICS rom like Modnote 3.1, rocket or Criskelo) as there is NO LP5 kernel in zip format available yet. If You have found one - please let me know. If you have than directly flash this LP5 kernel
Midnote LP5 kernel is in tar format - you cannot flash it in recovery mode

After phone successfully restore, most probably you will lose root
Download superuser from market
Run Mobile Odin - and select kernel Midnote 3 LP5 . This will flash back original LP5 kernel and the original Superuser, a higher end version compared to Market version

Reminder : In Titanium Backup - just choose restore MISSING apps only. If you want to restore data only from certain system apps, do it separately. Choose restore system apps - deselect all. Only tick apps data you want to restore - select restore data ONLY ; never select restore app

does anyone know how fast 2G running? I found it does not consume much battery. And I noticed that it was too slow to load a website or refresh the fb apps.

2G GPRS about 40+kbps, roughly 5-6KB/s

2G EDGE about 200+kbps, roughly 18-20 KB/s

yeah 2G consume less battery than 3G but much slower speeds too, only good for weather or news widget update or text chat but not good for surfing or fb apps or video/voip calls.

thanks for the information. Good to know all this.. Chose the auto-switch 2G-3G which I will assume when the phone is idle then it switches to 2G and when it is actively being used, switch to 3G. But still, consumes alot of battery.
Btw, I'm running at un-rooted and stock firmware.. Why not root or custom? DO NOT KNOW HOW.. LOL

Yah.. I should use Mobile Odin but I did a mistake by flashing wrong file. ICS Stunner is actually a rom and I didn't use ICS Repack. It should be flash the ICS Repack first followed by ICS Stunner rom. Theres no other way for me to get it back boot, thats why I I've use PC Odin Y_Y

yea... its in zimage format, i doubt by making our own .zip file will work since other kernel like abyss got a meta-inf folder... i wonder if it could be copied and insert into the .zip package as the midnote kernel so that i can just flash the .zip instead of zimage?

so what if i use the cf-root kernel v5.2 for lp1 series? cos last night i tried on mobile odin lite

file = ics repack.tar
kernel = midnote 3.1 zimage

then after the flashing is done, checked at phone status/cwm, it says chainfire... or is it the midnote kernel used chainfire but optimized with the name of chainfire kernel?

how come i can't find google map in my google play store de?

I did it the stupid way:
1. Download some barcode scanner apps,
2. Scan the below QR code (found in 1 of the link provided by uncle Benny)
