QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 8 2012, 03:44 PM) ok..will try trm as home internet is slow, downloading a more than 700+MB file for ICS-Repack and another 200+MB for ICS Stunner 4.3 will take ages...office faster...

QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 8 2012, 03:17 PM) Added on April 8, 2012, 3:34 pmTry taking out sim n put it back Restart phone Nothing to do with Stk If is data connection check whether data enabled at settings/wireless network/mobile network or recheck apn settings I see you just couldn't wait for ver 4.4 Yeah. Don't see the upload at all but already prepare all the steps, so i flashed 4.3 first to get the hang of it. Unfortunately no luck at getting Celcom connection back after following steps above. Might need to downgrade back to GB Rom if I can't get it back. This post has been edited by kurogane: Apr 8 2012, 03:57 PM

QUOTE(sarf2k4 @ Apr 8 2012, 03:47 PM) uncle benny, any other method to flash the ics stunner rom without mobile odin pro? if i lose root by flashing via both odin, what do i do? Use lite version. Try use mobile Odin lite n just reflash mid note lp5 kernel to get back root. Don't worry it can be safely use together w stunner rom I have tested it but possible you might not get full root but this does not matter to most users unless you like to edit /system/ files This post has been edited by benny888: Apr 8 2012, 04:03 PM

Found this review of Note, written by an Apple fan... http://isource.com/2012/04/07/review-samsu...-iphone-killer/Excerpt: I love iOS, and if I could get it on the Galaxy Note I would in a heartbeat, but not even iOS can make up for the tiny screen size on the 4S or the functionality I’ve found with the S-Pen. While the Galaxy Note is a monster, once you’ve spent some time with the device it’s not as big and scary as it once seemed. It turns out the Samsung Galaxy Note is an iPhone Killer, at least for me.

Hm... tried with Maxis simcard in my Note, and Stunner can detect + connect, however with my Celcom Broadband simcard it will say connect but "no internet connection."
Can't live without data plan access so I think I will just reflash GB ROM. Fastest way from ICS -> GB is to use PC ODIN and flash KK*series stock firmware, is that right?

You don't need to go that far back to KK* firmware, just to reflash to GB Rom... I think Benny and JJamain posted the link before... I have been flashing the LC1 (I like LC1 because it comes with a pit file but you can try the LC2 if you like from the link) before I move to other ICS Roms... They come with root... No, I didn't take any voice plan. Suspect that might be the problem. I only signed up for data plan because I'm still using my prepaid for calls. Tried to search thru xda thread also no help, but there was one guy with same issue as me.

If your ICS is on the LP5 kernal you cannot go straight back to GB. *If i am not mistaken* uncle benny got tell this to me before.. The last time i did i flashed the Abyss kernal before using PC odin to go back to Gingerbread

If you use that on a Smartphone, then there are chances that it might not work. Some telcos like to restrict such usage.

On an ICS Rom (Midnote, mostly in my case), the abyss kernel is needed if you are doing things on CWM recovery (ie. nandroid backup, restore etc.). But if you use PC Odin, that no longer applies... Well, it has worked out for me so far...
