QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 11 2012, 08:16 PM) Drop Gallery lah. It is a hopeless piece of shitty app. I neverr want to use it. use quickpic, a free app instead . Gallery cannot even detect ext micro Sd in stunner rom. It is slow in loading and badly organized Thanks Uncle...u save my day...already install Quickpic... Btw, the battery performance was very good on 4.5, still monitor it... |

QUOTE(kurogane @ Apr 11 2012, 08:31 PM) Maybe we should hold another gathering/rooting beginners class next time haha. vote for another gathering Anyways, I suggest all the beginners to read this first: http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/what-i...complete-guide/ Gives you an overview primer of what exactly is CWM and explains all the basic function. Probably should get to typing a jargon/lingo guide too. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 12 2012, 08:55 AM) Switch back to midnote latest v3.2 this morning. Main reason spen functionality. I still find stunner 4.5 a slicker smoother rom. I have practically zero issues with it Uncle, u're the benchmark...will follow u... Anyway one cannot have best of both world I install it ontop stunner 4.5 wiping data n all caches. Only issue was market stop but easily rectified i clear its data at titanium backup [attachmentid=2785868] |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 12 2012, 09:48 AM) Don't follow me. My taste is different from yours agree with u uncle...u're rite on Stunner 4.5 performance...there are also users at XDA who wanna revert back to 4.3...I use back Midnote mainly for its S pen functions and S memo Other than that I still find Stunner 4.5 a better rom overall Infact I was reading the last 10 pages posting of Stunner 4.5 at XDA - dunno why those users has so many issues/problems such as : - flash cannot work, sound volume inconsistent, USB OTG cable cannot be detected, ext SD card music n video files cannot be detected, gps cannot lock satellites, dialer FC, failure to restore apps from Titanium Backup etc etc - it is just plain frightening to a new user who wants to test it I do not faced such issues at all . I must say Stunner is a 9.9/10 rom - only issue is I not too happy, is cannot change lockscreen wallpaper but that is minor |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Apr 14 2012, 11:36 AM) I never have such GPS wakelock even on all the GB roms ; and definitely none on ICS roms my fault uncle, didnt do nandroid backup before this... Who say all GB roms has such an issue ? Added on April 14, 2012, 11:37 am DO NOT select repartition - it will wipe clean your internal SDcard Why you need to go back to Odin ? Didn't you do a nandroid backup ? Just restore it from recovery - so much easier and all your rom/data is intact i think to select repartition to clean up my internal sdcard first before proceed to Stunner... Thanks uncle... |
