the file system. when u connect ur phone to PC, mass storage mode is like the one in GB or like u plug in pendrive. more convenient to transfer things.

MTP mode: media transfer mode. sometimes you will be required to convert ur file type before transferring. the native mode for ICS.
*
Ah I see.I prefer the mass storage mode..easier to transfer stuff. How come not available in Midnote ><

Trust me you dont want the latter one haha. Cucuk and copy files is what you want! Mass storage in Stunner is truly one of its kind  rclxms.gif

If i am not mistaken Midnote is very close to stock ICS rom. So thats why its following the native traits.

Argh!At first plan to flash Midnote once I got my external memory card but now...MTP mode..HELL NO!!I like cucuk and copy haha! tongue.gif

Titanium Backup be default will auto create a TitaniumBackup folder inside your internal Sdcard
And DON'T remove it as you need to access it to restore back your apps
You can always copy the rom zip into root of internal SDcard. Need not use ext sdcard
Actually you should get a ext sd card so that you can free your internal sdcard for ebooks, music, videos and nandroid backups. ext SDcard is cheap these days - I just placed a order thro garage sales a 64 GB Sandisk , unbelievable at only RM 260 while the price was nearly RM500 only last month

Yea,going to get 1 soon. How big is nandroid backups?

Try booting into recovery using volume down + power + home,CWM and Quickboot...still no option to backup.

When I run CWM,it says this version of CWM manager requires kernel 5.0 something and some features are disabled. Is this the cause?

I am running on rooted stock rom.

Do you have Chainfire CWM recovery installed in first place ?? Probably you are still on stock recovery

With CWM recovery 5.0.2.7 , you will see

- reboot system
- apply update from sdcard
- wipe cache partition
- install zip from sdcard
- backup and storage
-mounts and storage
- advanced
- power off
- ## go back ##

Ah ha!I guess this is the problem

Do you mind giving me links on how to install Chainfire CWM recovery?

Found here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399

Is this the 1?

From what I read and wat I've (CWM Manager V3.0),I should follow this 1?

Instructions - If you already have CF-Root
- Copy the zip file to your SD card
- Stop sharing SD card with computer over USB, unplug the cable, etc
- Applications -> CWM -> Flash kernel. Select the ZIP file on your SD card.
- Done

Don't worry too much, just find the matching download and use it. What if there is no matching download ? You can ask me to make one, but I can tell you right now, I very very rarely make CF-Root's for kernels on request, unless it is the very latest kernel that has been released by Samsung. In the latter case, be sure to let me know. If there's no match and I'm not making one, try finding the closest match. You should treat "KJ4" as a number, but instead of 1-9, we have 1-9, A-Z (where A would be 10, and Z would be 35). "KJ3" is really close to "KJ4", "KF1" is not close to "KG4" at all. I hope that makes sense.

Read this.Okay gonna update CWM to newer version biggrin.gif
